I got selected to the dunk contest but after playing the rising stars challenge it went straight to the next game after the break. Anyone know why it did that??
U have to go in assosiation mode and simulate all games so u get to the all star weekend and u can do the 3pt contest, dunk contest and west all stars VS east all stars game
In my career I was in the 3 pt contest and afterwards my calendar was empty and it simmed to the end of the season...any way to prevent this? Has it been happening to everyone?

In order to play them,you must be selected in career mode. So if you want to be in 3pt contest. Become a good 3pt shooter and eventually you'll be selected,same goes for dunks

I thought i would be disapointed in 2k14 pc due to the graphics but the gameplay gave me a 1% satisfaction until i participated in the all star weekend with the 3point and dunk contest in association mode unbelivable but it was worth it and i can't wait for the next 2k15 pc.. im so happy:D
Didnt post full because it would have taken too much time to post, but posted highlights for both.. I posted all dunks though. You can only do allstar in association and mycareer so you cant choose specific players for allstar game. Also Courts will update once New Orleans reveals the court.

try activating shot feedback in the options to observe how u release a shot. then practice at "shoot around" or edit ur players' shot release timing to quick or late. it also depends on ur shot animation. my take is (shooting form/release #9 & shot base/jump shot #8) release timing/quick. note: wait for ur player to place the ball right in front of him (as he grab a ball) before u press the shoot button. thats how i get the momentum & i call it "grab & shoot" works really well i even got a perfect 30.
also (base on my experience) the shooting streak is not only efficient with the release of a shot but also with the timing of the next gathered shot. eg: if u press shoot while ur player is still in motion getting a ball, even if ur timing is right or even perfect, the ball tends to miss. so wait till the ball is right in front of ur player where he is in the right position to shoot for a better accuracy and a guaranteed shooting streak!
noticed the green bars appearing every time u make a shot? (in the shot timing gauge) its like a shot streak meter. it fills up in every successful shot u make. so the more green bars u fill, the more successful shot u will make. point is, once u get the rhythm from the 1st shot going to the next shot... u have mastered the 3pt shot contest!

yup that was the best dunk contest in the game ever I remember throwing the ball off the big screen and doing the cartwheel and dunking it
