Updating my opinion about Secret Service counter-snipers' hesitation in shooting Thomas M. Crooks, and maybe dispelling some of the controversy around Kim Cheatle's "sloped roof" comments.

true, yes, but that one building has a very dangerous line of sight & is very close.
6:00 they hesitated because they’re like “uh, there’s no way a kid with an AR got onto a rooftop 150 feet from the President and candidate because that is so Lee Harvey Oswald circa 1963”. i’m sure they thought that had to be an officer.
and to think there was no real security surrounding the building.. My fear is that it was more than just incompetence.
So, are we all settling into the narrative that it was all just incompetence?
@@Valelacerte we have to examine it & rule it out. Also, once we establish the failures, we can then look at the degree to which it was negligent, or maybe malicious. Im not afraid to consider that political and personal malice played a role.

People were reporting there was someone on a roof with a rifle. It seems to me that it took longer than it should have to take action.
I think they reacted pretty fast, but there were two issues: (a) he was very hard to see, and (b) at first there was some doubt that he might have been w law enforcement. And it all happened very quickly. The Countersnipers were alerted and trained on him maybe a minute before the shooting started.
@@pdquestions7673 Yes. I guess it would also depend on what news outlet one is watching. There seems to be right leaning and left leaning news stories. A LOT of conspiracy theories out there. Thanks for all you do!

we are the 🇺🇸 USA we spend more on military than we do on food beer and cigarettes. I’m going with plain lethargy. These are highly professional individuals with experience and willingness to die for their president. Please government people stop saying you don’t have money.

Always, always love your analysis - seems like a little more trickles out on the daily as to the technical aspects of Crooks' assasination attempt. Hand of God, Divine Intervention in my opinion. Seems as if others are acknowledging the same. The nation saw the Hand of God move, and I believe it will be plainly seen when separating the chaff from the wheat in the months ahead...
True, but at the same time this is no excuse for complacency. Maybe the presidential race is decided, but getting a majority in the senate is not as guaranteed. And, in the end, we deserve to know the extent of the logistical lapses that allowed this shooting to occur. While Trump was very very lucky, the shooter killed an innocent person and severely injured 2 others. So I treat this as a terrible lapse in security and a scandalous tragedy.
@@pdquestions7673 Oh, yes. Don't misunderstand me. There needs to be a public accounting as to each & every detail & a clinical post-mortem debrief so that this NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN. Absolute, that just b/c it missed Trump by a hairs breadth, it, or another bullet took a good man's life & changed 2 ppls lives irrevocably. The ripples & degrees of effects are in the hundreds of thousands due ti this seriously misguided & hateful heart. I stand with your statement 100%. However, whether you're for Trump or not, I certainly don't even want to imagine what would've been the overall outcome, short & long-term, of the bullet hands missed it's intended mark.
I'm still just amazed of what is occurring in my lifetime in terms of EVERYTHING feeling like time is moving fast & towards certain outcomes depending upon the decisions humamity makes. We've not been under greater strain & choice since the inception of our Nation 🇺🇸 IMO. We've also not experienced a greater pressure cooker globally & I sense ppl around the world are aligning themselves accordingly. This is just not about one man, or one country, or one season. This is about if not returning to a more peaceful & prosperous time by all of us with intent & purpose involving ourselves, rolling up our sleeves & doing the work to patch, dissolve, eliminate & gather for good, then a new path forward for all of us in our abilities to recreate avenues in all of the major industries & align ourselves with moral behaviors, if not spiritual.

@pdquestions7673 Oh, yes. Don't get me wrong. This entire situation needs a post-mortem debrief down to the nanosecond. Absolutely 4 💔 hearts were killed or broken that day by this misguided & angry young man. He had no idea, nor did he care, how many ripples his actions have cost. I agree 👍 wholeheartedly. I've had a feeling that b/c there really, @ the time it happened, an oversight group "in charge" & I have a feeling we'll get closer to the truth because of it. They didn't have much time to concocted a narrative & WeThePeople aren't going to NOT ask questions & demand answers, whatever those are. The FBI are the same FBI thay reaided Mar-a-Lago, set up the Steele dossier, wire-tapped Trump before 2016 etc...I don't think they understand that we'll keep coming after them b/c the games up...
Cheatham & Crooks, I thought those were interesting names given the basic facts of this crime & domestic terrorism. Although she says she's not stepping down, I have a feeling that by the end of this & the chaos that they all will have had been thrown @ them...
Throw into the mix with Biden's poor debate performance, most not wanting Kamala to rise up the-level, DNC & elitist Dems trying to figure out how & who to put up against Trump knowing that they have to start all over with financing another campaign, & how to get Dems down ticket to not lose their seats or can't win against their Republican counterparts. They've got alot on their plates right now ...
I will go back and watch your prior video to see if you addressed this: why did they allow Trump to go on stage before they checked this out?
@@Defiantly_Joyful i dont think i focused on that, bit you're exactly right. Given what secret service knew, they could have asked Trump to hold off fir 10 or 15 minutes while they cinfronted and dealt w Mr Crooks, but he should never have been allowed to get on the roof, because i think he also had plans of spraying the crowd.
