No Mr commentator there is no surprise that GT cars change tires more often than prototypes. The former considerably heavier and have much less down-force than the later which results in much more drift around the corners.

and heavier car also applies more force onto the tires,thus creates more wear. thus,heavier = bad for tire longevity

better racing than current dpi or toyota vs cheap garage in lmp1. i miss that era of door to door racing till the last lap. alms was epic. minus the american news coverage with their stupid trivia bits in between the racing
