Hi Mr Ed. When is your next video coming out? You are such an amazing teacher. I can't wait to see next video 😊. I wish I had the time to hang out with you.
Genius! I've been toying with this idea for a log clamp on my sawmill. If you shorten cables till there's only one wrap layer it has more power, less tangle and can be even tighter? TFS!
If I am looking for creative, inovation and economical, the electric loaders are great. If I am looking for performance the hydraulic loaders win hands down.
your speaking my dream loader language! now how about the booms? ive been thinking about it for long time and suddenly i inherited a large enough z turn for the platform. time to start cutting metal! but raising and lowering the booms is the issue all i can come with is is an elevated cross beam but its an unsightly and obnoxiously annoying way to get there. whats your thoughts?
Something to consider is winches that have a good mountable control that will fit the zero turn handles. I used the Badlands ZRX 2500, also comes with the remote control. This is handy setting roller limit switches for the boom up and tilt back controls. I know you need them because I have the tee shirt….lol. Inadvertently hit the tilt back with it back already, bent the bucket and broke my winch cable..oops.
Good point. Your comment illustrates the need to do design planning well enough ahead to compensate for possible problems. Of course we all recognize that there are usually more than one way to compensate for potential problems. And sometimes we simply end up learning from our mistakes. You are also right concerning the ZRX 2500 winch. I have been using one for a number of years for tree branch control for trimming tree limbs. The wireless remote is fantastic. It is definitely one of the best small winches on the market and at a great price. Thanks for your assistance, Ed
I agree. And if you have seen my other videos you would be aware that I recommend hydraulics. But for the weekend fabricator that is on a fixed or limited income he my choose to do his build using other means. Also I have found that people tend to lean toward what they know. Some know nothing about hydraulics but know something about electrical devices and are more comfortable using winches or electric actuators. My videos are intended to inspire the mind, not to say do it this way or that way. See video - ruclips.net/video/BoimHSNLpis/видео.html
Yes, I get that, but using a shovel and wheelbarrow would be much quicker than all this stuff. Also, these little tractors are really just mowers. The front end is not built for this. Boys like playing in the dirt though! Good luck!
I remember seeing you demonstrating the loader before and I wondered how you accomplished. Thanks for explaining it.
Wow that was awesome. You are one smart man. Thank you for your videos. I am wanting to build a loader for my garden tractor.
A loader is a very practical project and a useful tool.

I have a winch laying around with no reason. I might have to experiment. Looks good
Hey Mr Ed , I’ve been waiting on this video . What an awesome idea . Very ingenious idea . Thank you for sharing !! 👍🏻🇺🇸
Glad you liked it!
Great video, very informative as usual another great build for the books.
Glad you enjoyed it
Mr. Ed I really appreciate the video, I had the idea but now it is clear, keep the good work!! Thanks a lot.
Glad it helped!
sweet i had the idea but u made it click.. thank you sir
You are most welcome
Cool thank you I'm making a trailer that the bed slides in and out and I was having problems with the cables binding into each other
I'm glad it was helpful.

Nice
Thanks
I've seen all of your iterations of front end loaders, whats been your favorite of all of them?

I'm still in the design research phase. Thinking of a couple of different ideas.
Look up gin pole.

I've come up with a better way . . . Hydraulics! 😜
