To those asking about the eye glitters: Almost any kind of cosmetic glitter works. It can be an eyeshadow, a cream eyeshadow, or a loose glitter. You just need to find the right density and application method to make it look how you want. Some glitters are fine and some are big and chunky, so if you’re wanting that big chunky glitter sparkle you’ll have to get a glitter with larger particles. Swatch them on your hand and blend out a bit to see what kind of glitter is in your product. Also, they’re filming under studio lighting, so it makes the glitters look way more intense. Go through your own eyeshadows and glitters and shine your phone flash at it to see what it can look like under studio/club lighting. But yeah, the finger technique is best for powder so it doesn’t fallout everywhere. But blending liquid and cream in with your fingers also works really well so you can control the spread of diffusion. The biggest point on these is to keep the glitter only on the inner corner/lower lash line and the center of the eyelids. Glitter/shimmer creates a highlight, so it’ll cover up all the hard work you did on the rest of your eyeshadow contouring if you’re not careful, and that’ll make it look messy. So they’re using either very small bullet brushes or their fingers for precise application. If fallout keeps happening to you, powder your whole face before you start doing your eyeshadow, and you can try using a glitter eyeshadow primer (or a liquid or freak eyeshadow) tapped onto the area you want your glitter to go before you apply it, and that’ll give you the strongest adhesive hold to those little particles. Dry powder onto a wet surface will always work like a glue. Then when your eyes are done, take a soft powder face brush and gently sweep away excess powder and any stray glitter flecks from your under eyes and cheeks. Powdering first makes it so that glitter can’t stick to your makeup. One last tip bc loose glitter is annoying as hell lol, you can mix powders with either a mixing medium/eyeliner maker (several brands make these and I love the elf one bc it’s so cheap and effective), or even just a little bit of aloe gel or water, and by temporarily converting the powder to a liquid, you can get much better control, stronger pigment, and better staying power. Take a tiny bit of the powder onto the lid of the container, a hard surface or a small bottle cap. Adding any liquid directly to your powder will destroy the texture for future uses. Trust me 😭 Test it first!! The pigment will be SO much stronger, and it gets harder to blend while wet. You’ve just made liquid eyeliner. If you need to blend the edges, wait for it to dry down then see if it blends easily. If it doesn’t, take a bit of the same color in a dry powder form and use that to blend it out. Otherwise you risk it falling off in flakes and patches. But I wouldn’t suggest mixing it into oils or Vaseline because that oil won’t ever dry down, and will start to break up your makeup and smear it over time. I hope my glitter addiction is helpful to someone else out there ❤ Good luck!

Actually you're like, the most suited for it as Indigenous people are most related to Asian people & a loooooot of Latin@s have Asian features which if not pronounced can be accentuated. Also because it will look different on different features, which is why you need to be looking at douyin makeup on your eye, head, and brow shape. It makes a difference.
Ive accepted that makeup is a skill and not everyone can be an expert. We should just watch it for fun, learn whatever little we can and not feel about it.
practice makes perfect, and you need to learn what kind of makeup suits your face. the "baby eyebags", as called by one of the people in the comment section, better known as aegyosal, mostly suit east asians as shown in the video, so they draw them on with the help of makeup products. its highly likely that even if you do the same makeup and it looks absolutely gorgeous as the person in the tutorial, it may not suit you. you need to know what colours and what kind of foundation you need to put on your face to enhance the beauty of your features. to do that, you have to experiment. learn the placement of blush, eyeshadow, tint, contour, etc. that suit you. dont try to look paler than you already are. if you really want to change the colour of your skin, get melanin injections (for darker skin) or use whitening creams (for lighter skin) though of course, get consultation and suggestions from those around you and professionals. if you apply the wrong shade on your natural skin, theres a high chance it'll look extremely unnatural. if you apply mascara or eyelashes, you need practice for that too. you have to find out whether individual lashes suit you better than the other ones. also, many big influencers are asked this question; is drawing on aegyosal racist if youre not asian? the answer depends on your intentions. yes, if youre trying to look asian- no, if youre just experimenting or if it compliments your facial features :)
what are you yapping about? aegyosal has the same effect on all faces and skin tones if you use the right colors. why tf are you suggesting skin whitening?
@@delilah873 yeah i figured 😭 my point was, rather than using a lighter/darker foundation or concealor shade for ur skin, if youre old enough and you really do wanna change your skintone, it’s better to use skin whitening or melanin because when you use the wrong shade of makeup, it js looks unnatural. my point was not to force anyone towards changing their skintone, this is only if someone really does want to 🙏🏻
