- This video explains how you can choose a kundan jewelry and differentiate between the different types of kundans available in the market when you are buying kundan jewelry.
When you are buying kundan jewelry you should be aware about what actually are you buying and if you are buying the right product. Wether the price of the kundan you are buying right for its quality or if it actually is real kundan( in artificial jewellery category) or a FAKE kundan type which is being sold to you as kundans.
I have shown 8 different types of kundans which a layman can identify easily, available in the market and sold as KUNDANS.
I will be showing you the difference in each and telling you the price range each falls under and what actually you should be paying for them. Some of them are fake from 1- 4 and some are actual from 5-8 but the quality varies.

Most welcome 🙏🏻 kd ! Depending on your budjet . The ones I would recommend for long term use are the best AD kundans
But if u need to change the attire and jewelry next year and want them to last for a year at least go in for box kundans which lie in the middle . As they won't get tarnished ! Jai mata di

Very nice...i have a question..i have inherited a kundan set from my grandma...how is the evaluation of kundan on gold item done...anything can you suggest me that i must keep in mind while getting them evaluated?
The real kundans are actually cut glass ( crystal) set on a gold foil for the sparkles encased inside a gold casing.
The evaluation is only for the gold left after they remove the kundan glass crystals from the set. That's why most people keep their kundans as heirlooms, since they don't fetch as much cash when being sold after use.

If in gold its bezeled by gold and if in imitation it is fixed and glued both depending on the quality of metal and crystal used and many other factors

Hi Mysti Pachhi kundan is a kind of kundan which is specially made in Ahmedabad which involves a particular type of craftsmanship.
Normally kundans are made in boxes which are joined by jump rings whereas making of pachhi kundan is more like real kundan sets are made.

Coming to the answer to your query! Kundan are पीस of ग्लास and stones encased in boxes as explained , whereas polki are real diamonds which are raw and uncut and are set in gold or silver!
Going deeper polki इस much more lustrous and elegant when worn!Thus It is also more expensive !
