Having just two or three of these to do mundane field work and one manually operated tractor will be such a huge improvement. Being able to free yourself up to do other non field work or just allow you to focus on things you enjoy I can only imagine.
Great use of technologies. Im guessing buying an AgBot costs more money at first, but when you use it, it's cheaper every hour. you save money on workers, fuel, and fixing things. Over time, this can make it a better deal for farmers who want to make their work better and save money. 🚜
Robotic application will have a place in all forms of industry for the foreseeable future. There will be many application for which they will not be suitable but for large, boring, repetitive jobs over long periods they are a prime means of application and production. They also do not require lighting in non public accessible areas and have no man hour reductions just pass on from shift to shift operator. One operator and many machines. In this example this is how you help to feed 68 million people in the U.K.
It's the same thing they said about the tractor when it replaced horses. I don't think it will fully replace a farmer, their role will just look different.
I think farming, as well as many other work functions, will go to remote controlled vehicles. When asked about alternate fuels, why is ethanol fuels from biomass never discussed - and I do mean never? Ethanol from biomass and oils from biomass (i.e. algae) do not contribute to global warming. Both are readily compatible with internal combustion engines. EVs do not perform as well as ethanol or biomass oil powered internal combustion engines. Also, the electrical system, the grid mainly, is very inefficient which means, lots of energy in to give enough electricity to meet the end user's needs.

Absolutely
Brilliant imagine going to bed knowing that field will be ready for planting when I waken up
You won't, you'll be in a pod, in a city. This stuff is just you voting for your own replacement .
and then it plants it for you as well haha

The dairy industry is being revolutionised by autonomy, about time the arable side caught on.
SOLD!!!! I'm trading in the Davy Brown 1190 in the morning
it's exciting technology that's only going to get better and cheaper, but it's not good news for the smaller farmer.
Super heavy batteries are actually beneficial in a tractor.
How does it account for any implement breakages or does it just trundle on with a broken shank for example
No Problem Rfid Chips on ervery shank
Betting sensors dont perform well in dust, a sprinkle, or sunlight glaring. I wanna do the driving on those perfect spring days!
wait till there's a solar flare, we have some GPS equipment and its been really inaccurate over the last week

Other hand probably make food even cheaper and farmers farming larger areas for less
I just watched a modern tractor got stuck in the wet mud after another rainfall. Big machines are not right anymore for changed weather patterns
When turf footin robot 😂 been waiting forever 😅
Cost when water gets in around electrics or something breaks
@09.58 "In theory all the safety systems should always be working" ......Oh dear!!
going to completly take the fun out of farming
The fun was taken out of it years ago,was far more fun around farms in the 90's compared to now
Interesting machine😉 I still like to see "real" tractors get the job done😁👍
Case tractors have being running fully automonus for many years now in north Africa.
That's mad
We're all going to be made redundant in time
Only if you fail to embrace it...
Ton😎😎😎😎😎😎
I prefer manual
Thieves will have a good time stripping for parts at night,,,,,, plus the implements at the back,,,,, great idea for larger prairie USA
the idea is there but it just looks weird
No the future is a jd7010 series on that farm
Too bad
No, it’s the end of farmers. Why can’t people see that soon the banks won’t need you anymore. They will just have their A.I. farm for them.

11ton Battery ... sounds environmentally friendly alright, hydrogen would be better 🤔
There’s no way I’m going electric not a chance
its diesel
😂
You'll do as you're told Ben
@@concretet9427 I will in my backside 🤣🤣
@@Ben_4630 Jasuss lad that's the most Irish reply I've ever got from trolling 🤣

Lol it'd be nice if ya'll could learn to grow food properly...So to answer your question, no.
Not the future way over cost repairs costs are stupide you be better helping farmers not forcing them into det why I left this channle
NO. Just no.
U do farming cause u like it really not about profit !!! So a machine that u don’t drive u might as well leave farming
