As a Strip Tiller, I have all my guidance lines saved for each field. Nice to have straight headlands and rows. It takes a while to get it figured out, but worth it in the end. Even seeded down the edge of the field that has point rows to make it match the planter with out point rows. I'd think for organic that would be preferred. Looking back I'd probably make all my rows 0 or 90 heading, and just keep it simple.

Been there planting with no A/C, except it was the middle of June...it was miserable! I couldn't leave the doors and windows open all the time because of the dirt, and when i had to shut everything going certain directions, the monitors would throw an overheating warning. Just be careful, heat stroke is no joke.
Hope you got the electrical problem fixed!

Yea did that last fall harvesting, it is no joke... opening the door when only going a certain direction to limit the chaff and dust. After a long day towards early evening had to get my brother take over, was getting to be too much where I was starting to feel it.

No a/c in those cabs can be horrible. My boss/grandfather knows if the a/c goes out, that tractors down till we get it fixed.
We won't be planting till at least the 10th, we mainly farm wheat and cotton, and we just run a stock 16r40 planter right now, though I hope to add row shut off to it soon.

All the seed dealers in my area for the most part have a lot of respect for each other and it is a lot of fun to hang out with them all

Can you just take off the terminals off the end of the cable and clean them? Or is the cable end crimps bad?
I like the solder plug heat pellets on those end connections. Just saying as a maintenance tech. Good luck, I'm sure ya figured it out. Go planting!!! 👍👍

I am sure you could take the ends off and crimp on new ones. However, we really don't want to have to deal with this again especially while planting so we just went ahead and put the new one on the next day.

Nothing is better than electrical problems. It's even better if it is caused by you, because you did not turn the 3rd link out enough, so the cart's sensor doesn't connect. Or when you put one part of the fertilizer meter housing backwards, so the air get restricted. At least I realized it in half a day. 😅

Marker! Old school! Steering manually? What's that? lol. I hope you got the electrical fixed and the steering figured out. It looks like you got a lot done that day.

Why don’t you send your guidance line from the gator or 4 wheeler that created boundary track to the field cultivator tractor?

One year I did row cultivating and the ac died around 10, one line broke that gone to a filter(?) in front of the radiator. I did open the windows, except the doors. I did drink 5-6 liter and only had to stop once for a toilet brake. It wasn't fun in a 34°C(~93°F), but I did fall asleep pretty fast that night. :D
