in personality theory they are very similar, they are extroverted perceivers typically very casual, while he is an entirely different person Donald Trump is an extroverted perceiver too, and I think its part of what keeps his base, he seems like a nice guy if you only take him at face value.

From this clip (i'm not a regular viewer), I would guess that 1. Drew has some difficulty keeping physical boundaries ; or 2. This is her way of making a possibly boring guest , more interesting; or 3. She has some higher agenda in mind, like increasing love and compassion on TV , which is actually a nice idea .
I really like Cooper! I clicked on this to see him. And I've always loved Drew, but ever since she got this show, she's like... fondling the guests. It's distracting & uncomfortable to watch.
