    "That's why we made him even more powerful than ever cause everyone kept saying, 'you can't make a Superman story because if he can do anything than what conflicts are there?' Emotional conflicts. The biggest ones. The ones we all understand." Thank you Grant.

      Except that doesn't make any sense story-wise.
      He is super-x900000000 strong and as smart as he was never before, yet Kandor is till remains shrunken, Lois never be with him, and all winnings so far are only those that were told him from time-travelers from the future.

      Yoo Hoo kandor remains shrunken because its part of the mythology they don't want to change.thats it that simple.he hasn't figured out how to do it because they dont want to.

    • @RonaldCorbin14
      @RonaldCorbin14 5 лет назад +1

      @ I'm real confused. What do you mean it makes no sense story wise. How would being super strong and super smart get Lois to love Clark instead of Superman. Even though he didn't unshrink Kandor, he still managed to turn it into a win by using the kandorians to cure children of disease. And he won tons of fights, both physical and intellectual, before the half way point.

What incredible adventures we've shared. What amazing people I've known. But Lois, dear Lois... I loved you most of all. And no matter how dark it seems. There's always a way."*

    • @XIFATALXI
      @XIFATALXI 7 лет назад +40

      I wouldnt put All Star Superman in the same category as Watchmen and DKR. Those books act like they are embarrassed of the whole Superhero genre. Dont get me wrong, those books are still good and were groundbreaking at the time but All Star Superman embraces its roots as a superhero book and still makes it readable, which is why All Star Superman is a timeless comic.

    To this day, All Star stands as the premier Superman that distills his essence into a simple book. The image of hugging a young girl struggling with her mental health and reminding her that she’s stronger than her pain. Perfection in a page.

    This story came out in 2005 and to me, this has remained the best and most powerful Superman story ever written. Perfectly encapsulates everything I have loved about the character that will always remain timeless. Grant Morrison is an absolute magician with this masterpiece. I’m beyond thrilled to know that James Gunn will be referencing this for his Superman:Legacy film. I will be there opening night to see it. Thank You Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly for this masterpiece.
