The largest healthcare insurer in the country offers only high deductible ($3,000) plans and the premiums for a single person are around $160 per month. The plans are essentially good only for catastrophic coverage and then, they will find a way to cut you off and deny as much as they can. Surely, you could have obtained more info by asking current employees of the companies. I've worked for 2 different large insurers and have friends who work for other insurers. Your information doesn't appear to be accurate.
All of those plans suck. None without a deductible. Unbeleiveable that health insurance companies are that cheap to not offer free healthcare for their employees
As a past RN employee for a top 5 Health Plan, probably one of the Plans you referenced, I agree with your evaluations.
Thank you for watching and for sharing your thoughts.
Great video Dr. Bricker. Are there any publicly available resources on the plans that large health insurance companies offer their own employees?
Links should be in the video description. Thank you for watching!
Great topic selection!
Thank you for watching!!
Any data on what the premiums are (employee plus employer portion)?
Unfortunately No. That would have been nice. Thank you for watching!
What companies are these Dr Bricker?
Usual suspects. Thank you for watching.
Could it be that they have 4 Plans because the number of employees supports that many options?
Highly likely. Thank you for watching!
Great information...

It's crazy that health insurance companies don't offer free health insurance to its employees and families as a perk
