That was a monster job. You guys deserve a medal just for not giving up! I'm super impressed that you did the work of really touching everything. I can only imagine how satisfied you were after.
Put it in a picture frame. When you are feeling blue you can look at it and smile because it reminds you of your grandfather. Its a complete mood changer. 🙂🙂
Fantastic transformation ❗️ “if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right” and y’all did that by not just moving things around. Going through every little thing was probably tedious but y’all should definitely treat yo’self!
As far as the receipt from your Grandfather I would frame it. One of my best friends pasted away. She had hand written a recipe that my whole family loves , my Mom had it framed for me . That meant a lot to me . 🙏
We just finished cleaning and decluttering our garage We were ruthless! It looks fabulous and I feel joy every time I see it! We can fit two cars in now!!!
You could put hooks in your garage to hold dustpan. Ladders. Hose pipes. You could also buy a pegboard to put above his tool station. Hang tools up you use all the time. Draw round them paint within the lines. Hang the tools. Then if one goes missing you will know and know where it belongs. Great job doing the rooms. They all look so much better. We'll done
Great transformation! You guys stayed on track! You really went through everything which is great! Steven is a gem! He made me laugh so much!! I’m sure there is never a dull moment around your home!!
Awesome job! Yay for Steven! Love highlights in your hair! You look beautiful 😍 When we cleaned out our attic, we had 48 full leaf bags to haul off! Now it is almost that bad again! Don't let that happen to you!! Shane from Middle Tennessee
This was a little over a year ago. I am happy to report we’ve been able to maintain for the most part. It’s gotten out of controla few times (and currently in a state of disarray) but has been FAR from this bad 😂. It’s been easy to do quick cleanups
I love that this is very realistic. For most people it does take a month or even months to get through a project like clearing out the garage. I know mine will take that long as well. Thank you for keeping it super realistic!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🤩💕
Wow! That transformation!! I only just recently found your channel and I’m loving your videos. I love how real and relatable you are. You and your husband’s banter always makes me smile.
Something that helped me with paint is when I was done with a room I would pour the paint that was left into a jar, label it and put it up in the back of the closet shelf or in my laundry room cabinet and throw the can out. Cans take up too much space, they rust and dry out. Also when I have bigger amounts of paint left I mix them and use them to paint closets or a room.
You guys are such a cute and wonderful couple! You got me through deep cleaning my kitchen last night!! After a full day as a cashier....says so much for me. Hehe.
Your Grandfather's Receipt can be put onto TRANSFER Paper & Made into a Quilt! Don't toss it! You can do the same with that Photo or any photos as Well. Y'all did a Great Job! Teamwork makes the Dream Work! God Bless, Love & Keep Y'all! Juana
Awesome job! I’ve always said that my vehicle has to go into the garage because with kids and groceries... it’s a must. Enjoy your new decluttered garage.
It’s amazing how when you declutter and realize that you still have too much stuff, I feel like it’s a journey because after I moved-I find myself still decluttering only not as much😃🧺🧼 Sooooo amazing how you found your grandpa’s receipt🥺 you should put it in with your keepsakes in a special folder to protect it, or even a picture frame! There might be some special place in your house 🏡 you may want to display it!!!!😊
Great suggestion! I think that is one of the biggest takeaways I learned. When I started this I thought I just have to make it through my whole house and I'd be done, but it's definitely a life long habit. Going forward it should be easier to maintain I hope.
Frame the paper and place in a special place or with a photo share with your kids. Or add with your old family picture....sell the totes lol !! Great job !!
Create a memory bin for each child and one for you and stephen. Put in the things like photos or special items. You choose the container size and stick with that. Container concept/memory bin idea concept videos available from the minimal mom, dana k white and cass the clutterbug. I like that u have a place to put anything you want to keep and the container gives you accountability.
Been binge watching your declutter videos! You guys worked your a$$es of on this one! So satisfying! Great job. I enjoy watching you and your husband and family work together, it’s pleasing to me. I’m happy I found your channel (recommended by Christine at FFM). 💕
What a fabulous transformation. Your hard work paid off. You deserve space for your vehicle in the garage. The best investment I made in my garage was to have my floor epoxyed, so worth it, makes the garage an extension of your living space. Enjoyed your video, nice to see the entire family taking part.
ahahaaa!!!! Nokia! my first cell was a little frosted blue Samsung flip phone with the antenna and t9 typing.. Yukon Territory Canada didn't get cell service until sometime in 1997.. As far as sentimental stuff like the receipt from your grampa i say keep it and have an album or binder wit the full page slips to hold it in.. maybe you've found a way i mean this is from two years ago video haha.. as we speak my Gramma Mable is in palliative care so we are dealing with knowing she will pass any day now and i'm of course devastated, so seeing this about your grampa today (i've been subscribed to you for over a month) gives me the feels.. which is good.. i've started over a few times in my life from a duffle bag so many things that were precious like that have been lost.. i just would like to thank you for being here Shannon.. your videos have been helping with my own mental and physical health and are really really relatable.. i appreciate you and this channel.. cheers from northern Canada!! 💜💙🥰😎👍
Looks great! For future decluttering projects, put the items right into your car and when you’re running errands, drop them off. Then they don’t have a spot in your house/garage.
Exactly. The first day we spent just loading up and making trips to the donation center. We loaded up the car a few times in the beginning and did that, but then we got lazy. 😂
After seeing your need for sentimental items, being an archivist I would say buy an archival box large enough for your lettermans jacket and a photos are best stored laying flat in archival file folders and always take a digital copy but my luck that has always disappears and store in a dark and above 5 feet high, away from any water source.
Put your grandpa find in a photo album or a scrapbook. I have a binder with plastic sleeves for stuff like that :) Mine was a Nokia 😌 I remember 10yr old me tossing it across the park with no problem lmao
This is probably the one space I’m an benefiting the most having it decluttered. I never realized how much it was getting in the way of the life I wanted to live. Now I have a shaded place for my car, but also space to create and redo old Furniture pieces I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. It has also been surprisingly easy to maintain too!
Excellent job!! Great motivation!! My husband and I are currently in a rental house and have two storage units that we desperately need to declutter them both. Very proud for y’all. Enjoying your channel.
6:11 Put it in a photo album or make a keepsake scrapbook. Something like that shouldn't be tossed and you don't have anything from him, do you? I think it'd be nice on a scrapbook page next to a picture of him if you have it. It's something that could be kept in the family too for your kids to pull out and say, "Hey look, it's great grandpa!"
This makes me wish I had a garage full of stuff to get rid of but I live in a mobile home park and have no garage, no mess which leaves me time to put my feet up with a cup of coffee and watch videos like yours! Life is great isn’t it!!
First phone was a Nokia. Still have it. I have my grandfather's WW II ration book. He died 3 years before I was born. I keep it in a pouch from the funeral home.
Fantastic job! Thank you for the motivation, I have to move in 45 days and there’s closets I don’t want to deal with 😡. But like yourself and your family you paced yourself, I’ll try that no guarantees lol
Put your special things in a memory box or bin Everyone should have one Can’t keep anything more than what the box/ bin will hold. From the Minimal Mom Yep. It’s me again. Lol Karen 💕🌴🌈
That was my first phone too!! You guys were working so hard and made so much progress. I made a keepsake bin for me for those types of sentimental items which helped a lot.
This has been the space we were the most ruthless in and it has paid off! Months later and we have maintained our hard work! I have been able to park in the garage all summer. It has been so nice.
Great job! I really appreciate the lighter nature of your channel, family life is messy and full of small victories!
I love that.... Family Life is full of messes and small victories. ❤️❤️❤️
you should do a home tour, before and after declutter :)
Great idea!
Wonderful suggestion!
I need this in my life right now and by that I mean, watching someone else clean their houses
Haha, I'm here for you. This hot mess express will have continuous content ❤️❤️❤️
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fantastic transformation ❗️ “if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right” and y’all did that by not just moving things around. Going through every little thing was probably tedious but y’all should definitely treat yo’self!
Exactly right, Sonya!

Put sentimental cards, notes, etc. In a scrapbook or binder in clear page protectors. It works like a dream!❤
We just finished cleaning and decluttering our garage We were ruthless! It looks fabulous and I feel joy every time I see it! We can fit two cars in now!!!
The laughter you all share. Tis beautiful and infectious.
We'll done
I am so proud of you guys for staying on course... it’s tough and you have done great!!
Thanks Larissa! It was worth all the hard work!
Great transformation! You guys stayed on track! You really went through everything which is great! Steven is a gem! He made me laugh so much!! I’m sure there is never a dull moment around your home!!

Home improvement. I still watch the reruns. Y'all did an awesome job. My 1st phone was the same as yours. Lol!
Oh my gosh, your hubby snapping 😆! Totally cracked me up! You guys are doing such a good job. And happy mother's day!
Awe, Thanks Kim!
Wow! That transformation!!
I only just recently found your channel and I’m loving your videos. I love how real and relatable you are. You and your husband’s banter always makes me smile.

I have a sentimental box, can keep whatever I like, as long as it fits in there
Big fan of the container method
Awesome job! I’ve always said that my vehicle has to go into the garage because with kids and groceries... it’s a must. Enjoy your new decluttered garage.
That was such an improvement . I know you were so happy great job😊
Wow! What a difference! Looks amazing!!
Awesome job, now get that van in there so you are not tempted to set anything down in the space!! Love your work 😊🌻💖
Done and Done! I didn't show it in the video, but momma's van is IN! Yay!
Y'all are hilarious lol!! Great job! That was massive 👏 😳 👌 🙌
Oh the empty bins are so nice to look at!!! So satisfying! Thanks for the IG message. I just subbed to your channel. ❤️
Oh my goodness you did such a great job! I am amazed at the transformation! Way to go!
This transformation was one of my favorites.
My first cell phone was the Nokia-lime green! Great job-btw.
You two did a fantastic job and should be very pleased with yourselves!!! I can totally relate to your struggles. Thanls for the inspiratipn!
Home Improvement. Steven wasn’t playing! LOL!
No he wasn’t, 😂 I set him up perfectly too. He missed a real opportunity for a dad joke there. Lol
FANTASTIC!!! Transformation is be

Looks great and your hubby’s Spanish is better than mine and loved your little helps
You all did fantastic!
Great job! It’s crazy how we accumulate so much stuff 😬
It looks awesome. One of the things we did with our last move was mount the bikes on the wall since the garage was smaller it helped so much.
Fantastic!!!! 😊❤🐦
Use the empty bins to collect donate items as you continue to purge. You can then donate the items with the bin.
Omg such a difference
Great job done! Can’t wait to see your next project. Blessings! ❤️
Looks fabulous!
Totally can relate
How does this gal only have 4000 subs? This is fantastic! Love watching your spaces transform 🙌
Love you, Jenna! This comment makes me feel so good. ❤️❤️❤️
Wow!

This was probably the most work and the most rewarding declutter to date.
Amazing job, I always say team work makes the dream work. It looks great, tou both did a great job.
That's are family motto too!
I have been binge-watching all your videos the last two days - I love your channel!!! You are so inspiring!!!
It seems like you have such a beautiful home! It is great you are decluttering it so you can show the beauty of your home

Lol loved how he hasn’t mastered the snap yet hee hee
😂😂😂😂
Put your grandpa find in a photo album or a scrapbook. I have a binder with plastic sleeves for stuff like that :)
Mine was a Nokia 😌 I remember 10yr old me tossing it across the park with no problem lmao
That is amazing - what a massive difference. It feels like potential - space to be creative in and also space for cars 😊

Perfect garage.

BEAUTIFUL!!
Hey there! Just started seeing some of your vids. You put out great content!
Can’t belive it 🌟 the after look sooo good 🤩👏👏
First phone was a Nokia. Still have it. I have my grandfather's WW II ration book. He died 3 years before I was born. I keep it in a pouch from the funeral home.
What a cool thing he left behind. My grandfather also left behind some WWII artifacts, my mom and uncles have them for now.
Wow you both did an amazing job - loved it and it was worth the wait, love your videos the honesty of them you make me smile xx
Hi Lorna! Thanks for hanging out with me today ❤️❤️❤️
I give you an A+!
Why thank you! This has been my favorite room yet!
Fantastic job! Thank you for the motivation, I have to move in 45 days and there’s closets I don’t want to deal with 😡. But like yourself and your family you paced yourself, I’ll try that no guarantees lol
I’m not a fan moving either. I’m sending you all the motivation vibes to get us done at the pace you need to ❤️
Wow!!! Great job!
Thank you! ❤️
Awesome job!! And adorable children🌸💕
Thank you so much 😀
Put your special things in a memory box or bin
Everyone should have one
Can’t keep anything more than what the box/ bin will hold. From the Minimal Mom
Yep. It’s me again. Lol
Karen 💕🌴🌈
Thank you for the motivation. I'm going to tackle my garage tomorrow.
You are very welcome! Tag us on Instagram if you take a picture. You go this! 💪🏻
I would put the receipt in a sheet protector and keep it with sentimental items. I would have kept it too.
Garage turned out great!
Wonderful 🎉😊
I enjoyed watching you clean your garage, very nice video.
Yesss 😍😍 love this series 💪👏👏
Way to go
You guys rocked it!
Wow that was satisfying 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💕
That was my first phone too!! You guys were working so hard and made so much progress. I made a keepsake bin for me for those types of sentimental items which helped a lot.
Wow!! 🤔😳🤔🙌👋🎊🎉🎉❤❤ awesome transformation!!
Thanks Lee!
Looks so good!
Amazing!!!
This has been the space we were the most ruthless in and it has paid off! Months later and we have maintained our hard work! I have been able to park in the garage all summer. It has been so nice.
