I love it when I start a game in an open map like campinovka, there are no light tanks, and then I realize the enemy team has two Borats. Off course, they have cvs and even muffler as an equipment option. It is a deeply emotional moment...
That’s how I 3 mark the bour. Spotting first then use its speed to cleanup and get at least 4 shots in
one game I play against x3 Borat (not platoon) and my team have Panther II, T44 and TVP hahaha ... big open map ... WG are total retards with MM
I think Borat is one of the most complicated tanks to play with.
You need to know everything about the game if you want to be succesful with this tank.
You need to play as a light and a medium tank simultaniously, and for that you have to understand vision system, know maps and positions.
But if you can master this, its a lot of fun to play with it.
Recently got my second mark on it, was happy as hell.
Agree, great potentiel between hands of skilled players but complicate for average players. Typical of French branch ?
But at the same time its one of the most broken tanks in the game. Basically a tier 8 light tank with 720 alpha damage. Its incredibly toxic.
It has no armor, but it's easy to play compared to other armorless tanks. Why? Because even bots can trade with bourrasque, compared to tanks like pz 58 mutz, Kpz RH, progetto...
@@VinnyMacalister Exactly, even most red players can do 2 clips and make 1.5k per game, when they would usually be lucky to do 500.
@@youtubiak I'd much rather Borats then Skoda T56s or BZs etc. badly played borats die, badly played BZs often still do a lot of damage and are hard to kill even in poor players hands.
As per usual people are going to complain about the tank, the ammo, the equipment. At the end of the day these sort of comments are trash and I will tell you why.
I had a former clan mate who used to mark tier 10 tanks for fun (sadly he doesn't play anymore too much BS in the game), and to shut up idiots who used to post on the forums whining about premium ammo, equipment, and all the other BS excuses people like to use rather accepting they are bad and other people are just better, he played tier 10 with 75% crews, no premium ammo, no equipment, no consumables in mediocre tier 10s like the IS7 and M48. From like over 50 games in this set up he still had close to 3k DPG and like a 58% win rate. Something 99% of the playerbase cannot achieve if not more like 99.9%.
Whilst ammo choice, tank choice, equipment, crew skills make a difference, they make nowhere near the difference the a lot of players think they do.
At the end of day its really down to the player.
But people will always struggle to accept they are not good and others are more skilled than them, it's human nature and its very common in this game for some reason, having been involved in many gaming communities over the years, I have never seen as much hate and bad comments against good players than I do in WOT.
I mean funniest example I saw was Daki doing over 10k in the terrible Type 5, with no premium ammo, but you still had people in the comments making excuses as to why he had such a good game, rather than just accepting he is damn good.
You all know deep down, that in that same situation as Iyouxin, with the same tank, same ammo, same equipment, the vast majority of you are not having that game or even getting close really.
A Bourrasque is basically an AMX 12T with a EBR 105 turret on it. Or a Tier 8 EBR 105 w/ tracks. Or like the B-C 25t, a light tank too OP to actually be a light tank in the game. 😂

Once you get a hang of the Bourrasque, use the different configurations per map, and, like you said spam only gold rounds you'll grow into this French assassin!
after 350 battles, 140 games between 60% and 64% i finally 1st marked it. hope these tips will help me get my second or even my 3rd

Disagree on having to spam gold. With the typical playstyle of this sneaky little flanking tank you can get away with anything. It's more of an issue not hitting the target than it is not penetrating the target.
Depends on the match up but yeh you can easily play with a decent amount of standard in the right match ups, it a tank worth using the two ammo set up options on, I usually have full gold for higher tier match ups and like a 60/40 load for out for lower tier matchups.

that Spotted indicator is pretty nifty, how do you get it to stay lit for the duration of being spotted? I can't find the setting and have to guess.

This thing is too filthy for anyone who is experienced enough.
Xin, I honestly think Bounty Aiming is better for this tank than that Experimental equipment.
The reason for that is you have only 2 shells anyway, so you can afford to spend a touch more time on aiming to hit your shots more reliably.
0.32 is quite a bit different from 0.35.
I'm not the best with the Bourrasque but I'm close, top 20 of all time in my server, so I do think I push the Bourrasque very close to its limit.
But I thought you were playing the Bourrasque with Bounty Aiming before?

This tank is extremely hard to play, because it's very unclear where you should be. Plus the 20 sec reload and no armor.

I am a very average player, but do reasonably well with this tank, even though it has a high skill cap. It’s a tank of opportunity. And I usually always make credits with it. If I played like this guy, I’d be a millionaire…LOL
Looks like I'll never learn :( Just when I thought I understand how to play it, I reached 63+ % MoE and then something happens and now I'm 59%... I'm using coffee, 4 perk crew and still there are games I just can't do a thing, no matter how I surprise enemies, the tank just don't want to pen a shit. It is really frustrating :(

You can't pen anything with the regular ammo. Not only is the pen only 190 the gun is so inaccurate you aren't hitting any weak spots.
Your advice is to give yourself a leg up by paying to win. Got it.

Burrasque does not need full gold. I barely shoot any gold. Only when facing really heavily armored tanks do i load gold. Most of the time i sneak around and shoot at targets that dont expect to be shot and thus 190mm pen is more than enough. Ofcourse if you are marking the tank and dont care about credit income load full gold and dont bother with the thinking.

Has nothing to do with equipment. Bourratt has good dispersion factor values for gun control, but horrid overall accuracy like a tier 4. Only aiming unit would change that.
Bourratt is a difficult tank to play because of the amount of fundamentals needed, fundamentals many players lack. lts not a difficult tank to play because of standard equipment.
This is just an excuse people use to disregard, down play skills needed. lf lyouxin here had standard gear setup of normal ventilation, normal verticalstab, and optics - he may not have played for 7,500 combined as he did, but he still would have easily done 5,000+ for sure, and thats like 100% MoE level

It has bad base accuracy, it is not going to change much even with bond equipment. Also Borat's gold rounds are 240 pen, which is very mediocre on tier 10. Also completely not needed in that game but sometimes you need because of the corridor maps and frontal engagement, plus playing higher tiers a lot. You can always have the two set ups. It's actually one of the few tanks I bother with the two ammo set ups on, if I get into like tier 6/7 games I switch to my mainly standard ammo set up to make extra credits but I doubt Iyouxin can be bothered considering he is on a press account.

I mastered this Bourrasque last year and hell, I got even 3 marks that time. but now I forgot how to play with it anymore maybe too much concentrated for the girl I love lol.

Dude, playing the Borat in a Tier 6 game with a Press account. C'mon...the account has every crew skill and equipment unlocked and you're acting like this is normal game play. Can you stop with the fake game play and show something real?
well its a tier 7 game but ok, the crew skills also dont really make that much difference all you need on this tank is BIA, camo, snapshot on gunner, and situational awareness. What makes more of a difference is the bond equipment and food. I also agree would like to see xin play some games with standard equipment not always bond and experimental and no food.

Today iyouxin is teaching you how to be toxic. Play an. OP premium tank, oh and also, spam gold with it, because why would you play a premium tank if not to spam gold. Also, must use directive, and premium consumables.

Because why not use tools at your disposal to greatly influence your teams chances to win and perform better yourself. Why be an excellent player with excellent prediction, intuition, positioning - when you can just be a complaining, condemning, toxic shitter who blames everything and who very likely cant even maintain 48% WR in anything.
