Hey mate. Absolutely killer video and this helped me a lot with my upcoming Anatomy exam. I just wanted to correct you at 4:34 you introduce the buccinator muscle as a muscle of mastication which is not strictly speaking correct. It does assist the muscles of mastication during chewing but it is not a muscle of mastication. The reasoning behind this is based on its nerve innervation, all muscles of mastication are supplied by CNV whereas buccinator is supplied by CNVII, a very subtle nuance. Great content and please keep it up! Cheers
Thanks mate really appreciate the explanation! Interesting about it being based on innervation too. All the best
buccinator also comes from the second pharyngeal arch I think so it would make sense to say its not a muscle of mastication since these come from the first arch
This Aussie accent is so satisfying to hear and also thanks a lot for this vid ♡

i enjoyed thanks a lot
Thanks for this video man. Recently I've got my sinus perforated during a tooth canal treatment... Unfortunately, apparently an artery was hit and I had a lot of bleeding. I wanted to know which artery could this have been and I've got the answer now. It appears that it was the posterior superior alveolar artery as it is the one connecting the root canals of the teeth.
Excellent video!
Good presentation .Tnx u

I fell and hit my face. Now my upper teeth on the top right side all feel half numb for 5 days already, Will it heal by itself? or u any suggestion?
My face was swollen but now have reduce and there was blood coming out of my right nostril at first now ok but when i suck and spit there is
blood in my saliva, The pain is minimum now. Thank.
This is where diagnostics are needed. You need to see the veins and arteries.
@@sergeyshchurko9541 thank now it is better though there is still some numbness but very little, It will get better with time, Now i know nerve take a logner time to heal,
