These guys have been supernatural for decades, and they gave me hope in some tough times. I was lucky enough to see them in concert in Binghamton NY, I think in 2002 or 2003. In an ice rink; bloody hell, the acoustics were awful, but I moved close to the stage and it was fine. They absolutely tore open a medley of Nirvana songs, it was magical. Have seen Chris with Punch brothers twice since then. What a gift they've given those of us who have been lucky enough to hear!
I saw this, at the Ryman, many years ago. Maybe...ugh, 09 or 10? But it was magical then because we didn't see this coming. And that little approach to the mic that Sara does, like she is geared up to belt the lyrics...but then Chris comes in with the vocals....holy crap man, that sent the building. Everyone was screaming and straight vibing. It was fun to see.
