    Like many folks here, I get notifications about several channels that I subscribe to here on the RUclipss daily.
    Most of them are mildly interesting to me, after all I subscribed to them.
    Tonight, I literally squeaked out loud when I noticed this download. It was at this time that I realized how much I appreciate your content. I literally made a noise of excitement that drew the attention of my family and required a mild explanation to diffuse the attention.
    I’m an amateur fabricator and I absolutely love this build. Can’t wait to see the first test drive. I hope it is this winter in five feet of snow.

    Looking good Donn. One thing: One thing at this stage consider adding some weld in torsion axle spindles and arms. NO matter how many supports or gusseting you do those axles will bend eventually. Torsion axles will eliminate that from happening plus the ride quality will be drastically improved. Same way Thiokol snow cats are setup too. They are cheap and will insure long lasting enjoyment. Solid tracked snow cats or Mattracks have never been a comfortable ride. They are very jarring and parts break often.

    • @kevinhornbuckle
      @kevinhornbuckle 4 года назад +1

      Sean Fillner Good advice.

    • @SeanFillner
      @SeanFillner 4 года назад +1

      @@kevinhornbuckle I love this build I just hate to see bent axles. I have owned solid frame mattracks and see the results of snowcat owners that use a solid axle design. It NEVER works long term. Something will always break or bend no matter how much support you give it. On the mattracks the bogies would explode.
      Torsion axle weld on arms are super cheap insurance for this build. I want to see this thing rip!!

    Donn, you are like the free hand plasmanator. This buggy is going to be awesome. Not criticizing it here, I'm just saying that the only thing I would have done is put trailing arm suspension. But that comes with it's own set of problems. Can't wait to see this in the bush. It'll be one hell of a hunting buggy.
