  • Raise and push green door to open.
    Pull and lower the door to close.
    Pink rollers roll in grooves of side plates.
    At open position, the rollers stay in upper horizontal grooves (a bit slanting), so the door is kept immobile steadily.
    Disadvantage: usable inside space is limited because of the door motion.

    The amount of free volume needed for the door to open inside is kind of too big. The lowermost roller can be put on an arm.

    nice but 2 problems, first it doesn't close completely and second, you cant put many things inside cabinets because of door's motion.

    Thanks for the video mr Thắng. What type of wheels are you using for this? Fabricated of purchased?

      I haven't made this door in practice, just animated it to show its working principle.
      For simplest case use standard ball bearings.

    How do we animate this?

    • @thang010146
      @thang010146  2 года назад

      A very difficult question to answer.
      This was made in Autodesk Inventor, Dynamic Simulation.
      If you use such software, download the Inventor files of the video and learn how to animate.
