  • When we talk about the Breton standing stones (“Menhirs” in Breton language), the majestic alignments of Carnac immediately come to mind. But this stone forest cannot hide other impressive specimens, witnesses of an era even older than the alignments, the Great Isolated Menhirs… Stones alone ;)

    Un grand menhir isolé se trouve sur la paroisse de Liscoët Gouareg: "La Quenouille du Diable" ( Kelid an Diaoul) en Brezhoneg.
    Voir aussi le menhir christianisé de Sant Uzeg dans le Tregor.

      La liste est longue en effet… plus tous ceux qui sont encore couchés, voire immergés! En tout cas je prends ces deux-là en note pour une prochaine visite 👍
