Okay, I understand why the anime did that because the alternative was to say/imply that it did happen like in the novel, which is not good (Hiya does do it without her consent which, even though it is horrible, it’s more treated more as a gag as Hiya’s only doing it out of curiosity without knowledge about what’s inappropriate about it and that leading her to making perverted advances on other girls). But I feel like it would have made more sense to just cut the part of Hiya’s fascination with mating entirely, even though that would mean making her close to having no personality after Flio beat Hiya and now Hiya serves Flio. In fact, they could have cut it out entirely because the reason Hiya became curious about mating was from secretly watching Flio and Rys do it and the anime changed that to Hiya interrupting them.
It's out of sequence then in the anime. cause she only spied on them & cot caught but they didn't physically do it yet in the anime. I take it they did do later on & she watched secretly. Whole scene could've been put in at the end of the anime then.
