i love his step when he sings, amazing reflex to the song!
And his control in the outro shows he's not just a showy belter.

Jacob Lusk is my fourth favorite American Idol finalist ever (as of 2011). I prefer his version of "Alone" over Carrie Underwood's version and Allison Iraheta's version. He earned fifth place.

This guy had the talent to win Idol. His ego got the best of him. He jumped the shark with Man in the Mirror by saying if people didn't like it, it was their fault not his, as if insulting his audience in advance. It was an unexpected, uncalled for turn off. And it got him booted before he could make the finals.
He did go sharp at 1:02, but he fixed it immediately at 1:14. Well done!

He missed the note at 1:03. Nobody can sing this song. I still haven't found anyone that can really sing this song.

uhmm. regarding him being gay? i dont care if he's gay. i just hate the fact that he's actually hiding it and he envelopes his sexuality with his "religiousity" so as not to be questioned for being gay. as for the singing! i think he sings good. he just overdid "alone." and his voice actually did break because of that. He murdered it. his version of AHNH is nice.
