Sometime hematopathology is a subset of CP, (its a hybrid) but otherwise most of clinical pathology isn't as focused on stains, immunohistochemistry, or scopes. CP is more lab chemistry, blood bank, microbiology. AP is histology and slides. Probably just saying pathologist would have been safer. Didn't mean to get all neurosurgeon on you...

As a medical student almost done with uni, I can confirm that me and my microscope has developed a special connection. ❤ The day I passed clinical pathology was also one of the saddest days in my life. I was playing "see you again" in my head for the next few months 😢

As a pharmacy tech, I have also formed a deep emotional connection to my counting machine Kirby... though we don't have as great of a relationship like with Tabitha. Kirby will screech at me if I take more than 10 seconds to open a new bottle. I just yell back, "SILENCE YOU IMPATIENT LITTLE-" If only Kirby could be as nice as Tabitha.
Nah the biomed techs could fix it in less than 10 minutes without even needing to replace the original cord. Most of them are military vets or very experienced tradesmen.
But where are your twins, Petri Dish and Agar Plate? I know they’re pretty self-sufficient, often wanting to be left alone for days at a time, but surely you check on them occasionally, right?
my husband is upset because Tabitha is not the appropriate type of scope for micro work and is a dissection scope. It pails in comparison to Roxanne who has been my husband's "work wife" Scope in his lab for 15 years. ( She even does oil emersion for the super tiny stuff)
