    When I was child out camping with my moms family in Netsilik Lake my Uncle Timiusie Evic would play this on his acoustic. The whole camp would sing. Memories I treasure forever.

    This is much appreciated! I don't know as much about my indigenous relatives north of the United States, so thank you! Every day I reconnect and regain what was lost through years of assimilation and shame, and I hope to eventually enroll and do my part for the people. I will of course also look up Arviat Band and other artists.

      Wanting people to be happy, and I think telling a story about being a child out on the land with his father. This is my language but I'm not very good at it

    Thank you for bringing us more of your beautiful culture! Every time I see people from First Nations expressing themselves in Art…I am thankful …and I have regrets for what the White people did to you all! I am so sorry…from the bottom of my hearts!
