Sure, the food isn't "healthy" and I probably have unknown health issues because of it, but overweight/obesity isn't and hasn't ever been an issue for me. Anecdotally, I know tons of people that can't go more than 2 hours without some kind of meal because they're "hungry". These are the types that battle with weight, because they have little to no self control. They continue to stuff their mouths and stomachs, without burning off any of the calories from their last meal.

Believe it or not, the obese tend to be nutrient deficient. They didn't get that huge by eating healthy foods. I knew an obese woman in Vermont who died. When the autopsy was done, it was determined that her organs had simply shut down from a lack of several nutrients. Even though she was obese, she had died from starvation

The crazy thing is, as someone who is into health and nutrition, but also now into gardening/farming.... If you feed too much nutrients to plants, they will die. With Humans, you can have the same thing. There is "Iron Toxicity" as well as other types of toxicities from too much of something. Apparently you can get "Vitamin A" Topicality from eating too much Beef Liver within a short period. Also interestingly enough, there are many food compounds that actually cause deficiencies and certain things bind to each other. It's very complex.

@@SorcererOfDnipro not sure if you wanna loosen up but I was that too and I slimmed down a bit from fasting and just eating one big meal a day of whatever you wanna eat (at least for the start), either you working or in school it should help keep your mind off food during your fast. But other than that I hope you get past it like I did and trust me nothing can compare to the amount of happiness you will feel after, I was inconsistent at times but got back up and pushed back harder. I used to by a extra ticket at football games (pre 9/11). It was for my ghetto blaster. no body complained because it was tuned the sport station broadcasting the game. Maybe they could have charged her for extra weight. It take so much jet fuel per pound of cargo. So yes. There should be weight limit for the seat. I also weigh 260 lbs and those seats are a bit too snug. But that gal is a double wide. I also am one of the runts in the family. My nephew weighs 330 and 2.05 meters. He does not fly. He drives cross country. So do I. Even Business class is a bit snug.
The difference between USA and Canada: USA would have her pay for a second (or third)seat. Canada would give it to her no charge. For Better or Worse.🤷

Watching her rolling around on that scooter while talking crap made me shake my head. When the school year(I work in a school) started I was 50 lbs heavier and my feet and knees were killing me walking around. I knew I had to do something…and did. I still have more to lose, but I’m not using my weight as an excuse to be lazy and entitled. I couldn’t exercise at first, but losing weight is making sure to eat right for your body, and now I can bike 14 miles a day if I so desire.

I saw an elderly woman doing her best to get around the store because the scooters were taken. One was taken by a young man with a boot and the other an obese woman. Just lazy. I asked the manager for a chair and told him why. I asked the elderly woman for her shopping list and proceeded to shop for her. The manager found me and took over. He thanked me and tried to offer me some free stuff. I told him no thanks and thanked him for taking care of his customers. I will always be a customer; I don’t care if eggs are $12.99.

I feel for u brother. I'm 6 foot 5 inches the head rest is in between my shoulder blades it blows. I also lost over 50 lbs in 6 months with intermittent fasting I highly suggested it. I eat between noon and 6pm And eating mostly protein. I do that 5 days a week on the weekend I eat breakfast and I'll have donuts and sweets. You'll be amazed how fast u lose weight and ur energy will be like a 20 yr Olds. Give it a try u have nothing to lose only gains. I also run 2.5 miles at 4am b4 work at work I do 4 sets of 50 push ups. After work I do 150 sit ups and some weights. By the time I eat I've burned over 300 calories. U can do it and still have the foods u love in moderation
Morbid obesity is a public health issue. Side note when i was in ems there was a call (i didnt respond but coworkers did) and the guy was too big to be removed from his room/ trailer through the doors. They had to cut a wall out to be able to get him out for medical treatment. He also had to have a mri done at the zoo or a veterinarian school (i forget which it was) because he was too big to fit in the hospitals machine.

At one time I was 445 lbs and it was uncomfortable to walk sometimes and issues fitting into public areas but I did not expect others change to accommodate me. Now I am 220 lbs and guess what that solved the issue. Unfortunately now I am an amputee and am glad I am not that big anymore, it would definitely hinder my recovery and it would have made walking again impossible. I didn't have surgery to loose weight I changed diet's and changed activity levels and did it myself. I am 8 months out from amputation and can walk in the house already and hopefully outside as well, so. If you want it bad enough you can attain it. It's that simple, commit to the journey and make it happen.
There are consequences for our choices in life and having to pay for an extra "one or TWO seats" on the plane is absolutely one of them. I CHOSE to have 3 kids and, therefore, require 3 extra seats on a plane and have to pay for each one of them. And asking for free seats is absolutely "asking for handouts." And if she was so worried about being "safe and comfortable," she should probably lose a couple hundred lbs 🤷♀️
This cracked me the hell up. I don't fly often, but the last time I did, my armrest was the love handle of the "too healthy" person sitting next to me. To the point where it was draping over so far, it was laying on my left quad. What a pleasant 2 hours it was. At least I got to listen to him polish off a 12 oz bag of chocolate covered almonds to pass the time. From now on, I'll drive.

If you’re that obese and do not have enough discipline to not be as wide as two people, you should have to purchase two seats. Exactly, they've got sizers for the carry on and they weigh our suitcases. If they're too big or heavy, we have to pay extra for them. There should be a seat sizer by those, and if they don't fit into the sizer, they have to pay extra. @@SorcererOfDnipro not sure if you wanna loosen up but I was that too and I slimmed down a bit from fasting and just eating one big meal a day of whatever you wanna eat (at least for the start), either you working or in school it should help keep your mind off food during your fast. But other than that I hope you get past it like I did and trust me nothing can compare to the amount of happiness you will feel after, I was inconsistent at times but got back up and pushed back harder. Watching her rolling around on that scooter while talking crap made me shake my head. When the school year(I work in a school) started I was 50 lbs heavier and my feet and knees were killing me walking around. I knew I had to do something…and did. I still have more to lose, but I’m not using my weight as an excuse to be lazy and entitled. I couldn’t exercise at first, but losing weight is making sure to eat right for your body, and now I can bike 14 miles a day if I so desire.
Let’s face it her “too healthy” azz doesn’t want to purchase two seats!! This is her way of making herself a “victim” to the rules! Anyone who signs this needs to agree that small people should be able to fly at half price!

I saw an elderly woman doing her best to get around the store because the scooters were taken. One was taken by a young man with a boot and the other an obese woman. Just lazy. I asked the manager for a chair and told him why. I asked the elderly woman for her shopping list and proceeded to shop for her. The manager found me and took over. He thanked me and tried to offer me some free stuff. I told him no thanks and thanked him for taking care of his customers. I will always be a customer; I don’t care if eggs are $12.99.

I feel for u brother. I'm 6 foot 5 inches the head rest is in between my shoulder blades it blows. I also lost over 50 lbs in 6 months with intermittent fasting I highly suggested it. I eat between noon and 6pm And eating mostly protein. I do that 5 days a week on the weekend I eat breakfast and I'll have donuts and sweets. You'll be amazed how fast u lose weight and ur energy will be like a 20 yr Olds. Give it a try u have nothing to lose only gains. I also run 2.5 miles at 4am b4 work at work I do 4 sets of 50 push ups. After work I do 150 sit ups and some weights. By the time I eat I've burned over 300 calories. U can do it and still have the foods u love in moderation

Side note when i was in ems there was a call (i didnt respond but coworkers did) and the guy was too big to be removed from his room/ trailer through the doors. They had to cut a wall out to be able to get him out for medical treatment. He also had to have a mri done at the zoo or a veterinarian school (i forget which it was) because he was too big to fit in the hospitals machine.

At one time I was 445 lbs and it was uncomfortable to walk sometimes and issues fitting into public areas but I did not expect others change to accommodate me. Now I am 220 lbs and guess what that solved the issue. Unfortunately now I am an amputee and am glad I am not that big anymore, it would definitely hinder my recovery and it would have made walking again impossible. I didn't have surgery to loose weight I changed diet's and changed activity levels and did it myself. I am 8 months out from amputation and can walk in the house already and hopefully outside as well, so. If you want it bad enough you can attain it. It's that simple, commit to the journey and make it happen.

There are consequences for our choices in life and having to pay for an extra "one or TWO seats" on the plane is absolutely one of them. I CHOSE to have 3 kids and, therefore, require 3 extra seats on a plane and have to pay for each one of them. And asking for free seats is absolutely "asking for handouts." And if she was so worried about being "safe and comfortable," she should probably lose a couple hundred lbs 🤷♀️

This cracked me the hell up. I don't fly often, but the last time I did, my armrest was the love handle of the "too healthy" person sitting next to me. To the point where it was draping over so far, it was laying on my left quad. What a pleasant 2 hours it was. At least I got to listen to him polish off a 12 oz bag of chocolate covered almonds to pass the time. From now on, I'll drive.

Exactly, they've got sizers for the carry on and they weigh our suitcases. If they're too big or heavy, we have to pay extra for them. There should be a seat sizer by those, and if they don't fit into the sizer, they have to pay extra. If their ass is 2 axe handles wide and is spilling into the seat next to them, why should the person assigned to be next to them have to be uncomfortable for the whole flight?
