I own a Pepe Le Pew animatronic from The Looney Tunes Revue. Let me know if you have any other questions or would like to make a continuation of this video!
It's so nice seeing the Rocky & Bullwinkle animatronics again! My parents only took us there because my dad wanted to play mini golf, but I remember becoming absolutely transfixed by the animatronics. I don't even remember the actual show, just that there were "really cool robots", and that's been burned into my brain ever since.
I went to the atlantic city gadgets.. there was an arcade.. one of their games was QBERT.. it was new at the time.. i remember some girl and her friend coming up to me and watching me play and then she's like,,,, "DID HE JUST CURSE????" we all laughed,,, even though we barely knew each other.. good times..
Tennessee Tuxedo and Chumley were in the prototype version of the Bullwinkle’s show. Polly Purebred was planned to be in it as well on a turntable but that was scrapped.
Wow, didn’t know that. Finding information on Bullwinkles wasn’t super easy (which is why I only found out about Snidley while editing). Thanks for the info!
@@SeekerofTheLost Forgot to mention the opening date for the original Santa Clara store was June 14, 1982. Here is some footage from that location featuring the stage: m.ruclips.net/video/2H-TCahNgG4/видео.html
underdog was included at bullwinkle's due to the company having the rights to rocky and bullwinkle also owning underdog, which is also the main reason why tenesse tuxedo and chumley used to be there
At the risk of posting on a year old video, there IS a reason why Underdog is in a Bullwinkle show. It's a series of weird and a little confusing ownership/producing coincidences partially revolving around General Mills and some producer named Peter Piech (who the character Peter Peachfuzz is named after). Long story short, Jay Ward Productions (Bullwinkle) and Total Television (Underdog) had the same distribution company behind them. Not to mention, causing visual confusion, they used the same Mexican outsourced animation firm. As a result of distribution, syndicated reruns of Tennessee Tuxedo and the Underdog Show were often paired with Bullwinkle segments, sometimes Fairy Tales, sometimes just Bullwinkle's Corner or Mr. Know-it-all segments. Likewise, syndicated reruns of Bullwinkle would have some Total Television segments. I think in the 90's Universal bought partial rights to Bullwinkle, splitting the two properties up finally, until, hilariously, Classic Media bought up both the rights to Ward Productions AND Total Television. Then Dreamworks bought Classic Media and Universal bought Classic Media.
Hi Seeker, It's ironic I found this tonight. I was reminiscing with my daughter, and my grandchildren how I was fortunate enough to play Bugs Bunny one Easter weekend at a restaurant when I was young. Yes, I was a waitress at Gadgets, I truly lived working there. It was fun, upbeat, great staff, the food was actually really good, and we all enjoyed making children happy.
Thank you so much for watching, Crystal! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! And that’s awesome! Gadgets truly sounds like it was a fun place to work! Thank you for sharing.
I remember and Loved Gadgets 😍 ❤...i grew up very close to the Berkshire mall . And remember having grasshopper pie ..its mint /chocolate and was a special treat
The real reason the chain folded was Rupert Murdoch was making his first hostile takeover bid against Warner Communications, and many of the new startups, like Warner Leisure were shutdown in a successful strategy to prevent the takeover. I was one such victim who credits Murdoch with forcing a life change that enabled me to meet the mother of my kids. Also, some of the voice work was actually done by Noel Blanc, Mel’s son, as Mel was getting along in years.
I had considered it before, but that test footage is harder to find nowadays, and the one place I found it, couldn’t easily download the file. But maybe it’ll make it into a list video some day.
How do you find things like the lost audio? No joke I have an addiction to watching their showtapes and listening to them. I will not rest until I find SOMETHING! either that or I keep making cringe content to draw attention to the subject.

Makes you wonder why Six Flags never ran with this. And those animatronics were very well done and not as creepy as others

I worked for Gadgets. 3 years. Worked in ops and then construction department. What a strange and interesting ride.

@@SeekerofTheLost Keith Scott's book "The Moose That Roared", talked a bit about Bullwinkle's. Dunno if you've read that.
All I can say is, I highly doubt the pizza ever tasted like cardboard, that's just a normalized claim that has been over-exaggerated by many people.
underdog was included at bullwinkle's due to the company having the rights to rocky and bullwinkle also owning underdog, which is also the main reason why tenesse tuxedo and chumley used to be there
and also, gadgets was operated and owned by warner bros, so the looney tunes license dosen't really have much to do with the closure

Did you ever see the fog horn long horn or taz animatronic?

If they played a show every 30 minutes and had at least 50 shows, they wouldn’t be able to get through them all in a single day!
Just means you’d likely never hear the same show twice. Which is kinda crazy for the time.
This video taught me a lot! Awesome video, Seeker!
Thanks for the support! Glad you could learn something from it!
Seeker I actually have a picture of taz

Great job on the video, Seeker!
Thanks, Shy!
I just wanna see the exploded Daffy!
I think it’s the only animatronic we still don’t have pictures of. The others surfaced shortly after the video was made.
I’d love to see it too.
I own that animatronic, it’s in a few of my videos if you want to check it out.
