Enjoyed watching the match even though we rode our luck a few times but you have to take your hat off to RLB who got the tactics, formation and team selection spot on. Great to see Eliezer and Wilson played as a front two with Aouchiche and Roberts on the flanks of the midfield four to keep the team balance just right and I think the 4-4-2 suits the team. Lots of gritty determination shown right through the team and the two goals were just reward for Eliezer and Wilson after the stick they've been recieving lately and it's a timely reminder to those who are so ready to dish it out that "form is temporary, but quality is permanent." Well done to all of the lads, onward to the Pompey match and put them back in their box too, Ha'way the lads 🔴⚪👋👋

As our injured 'star' players return, I believe we have a great chance to return to the premiership. MEN of the match Mayenda & Isidor who were both excellent in this new formation. After the last few games didn't expect it hoped for this result O9 had to give the pen unlucky with the OG that was his worst performance, Patto was poor got lucky a few times but a saved pen well overall an excellent performance by the team

What a game! Edge of your seat stuff. The blades were blunt and I don't think they offered as much as their position projects, to be honest. Man of the match is between Isidor and Mayenda, Mayenda just about pips it for me ( I wish he would smile and enjoy his goals, he always looks miserable) That's two great headers that O'Nien has put away now. 😂 Still a great player though. A good all round team performance. HWTL
After the disappointments of Blackburn and Stoke, that was a massive result and one that will hopefully get our confidence back and hopefully set us up nicely for the rest of the season, depending on what happens in the January window but that's a different story, I'm not gonna lie I wasn't that confident going into this one but thank god I was proven wrong and we did actually turn up, for the most part I thought we played well when we actually went forward, nice to see us go with a 4-4-2 cos that really got the best out of Isidor and Mayenda, defensively still looked a mess at times and did sit back to much in the 2nd half but thankfully we didn't get punished for it and we got the job done and that's all that matters right now, in terms of performances I thought Mayenda had his best game in a long time, either play him up front or don't bother cos the lad offers so much when playing in his natural position, Mepham had his best game in a while, solid as a rock and Neil put in another good shift, definitely more like it from Dan in the past few weeks or even month, massive win but we've got to do it again on Sunday, got to beat Portsmouth simple as that otherwise last night was a waste of time, big opportunity for the lads, let's hope they don't waste it and hopefully some quality additions in the window, that would be nice 😂🔴⚪🔴⚪
Great result and the critics of Mayende were rightly silenced. Motm Mayende followed by Patterson and his important save . Luke O'nein was really unlucky with the own goal as it was a nasty deflection and he had no chance . It was a great all round team performance and great to see a gud 4-4-2 formation as well 👍🤔
@malcolmdonnison3987 god's honest truth IMO both Patto and Onien were shocking at times last night, yes Patto saved the penalty fair play but again his kicking just puts us under pressure and Onien was a massive liability last night, yes the own goal was unfornate but giving away the penalty was stupid, aside from them everybody else did a really good job
