- Indian army and USA army conducted a training exercise Yudh Adhyas at Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA from September 14-17. Where the Indian army was training with the US army called as India & US joint army training exercise. The purpose of India and America army training was to learn to operate together.
Fort Bragg's 82nd Airborne Division hosts V.I.Ps from The Republic of India and the U.S. D.o.D. and show them a weapons demonstration.
INS Vikramaditya, the floating airfield has an overall length of about 284 meters and a maximum beam of about 60 meters, stretching as much as three football fields put together. Standing about 20 stories tall from keel to the highest point, the sheer sight of this 44,500-tonne mega structure of steel is awe-inspiring. The ship has a total of 22 decks. With over 1,600 personnel on board, INS Vikramaditya is literally a 'Floating City'. With a capacity of over 8,000 tonnes of LSHSD, she is capable of operations up to a range of over 7,000 nautical miles or 13,000 km.

A good buddy of mine is a veteran of the Indian Navy. We studied Electro-Mechanical Engineering together. Great guy, he really gave me a positive impression of Indian veterans and people from India in general. Of course there are lousy people everywhere, but as far as military personnel goes he was/is an upstanding American citizen. The fact that we are both veterans, made me respect him even more. I was in the United States Air Force and he was in the Indian Navy. Both veterans and both countries fight for freedom for all people. I respect any individual no matter where they come from that is willing to fight for equality and freedom for all people. Hopefully both countries can continue to fight terrorism and oppression and keep people free and happy everywhere in the world. I think no matter where you live in the world, the standard citizen just wants to go to work, come home spend time with their kids and wife, send the kids to bed, bang their wife, provide for their family, go on vacation from time to time and live a happy and peaceful existence. :-) So thank you American and India and all of the other Allies of the United States that have the same ideas of freedom and equality for all!
