Thank you sir for making it clear... I have an question ... At 7:50 , you said that the 2,3 -Dichlorobutane is optically active...but this compound is meso compound... has plane of symmetry .. two chiral centre.. A meso compound can not be optically active ...Sir , tell this please.
2,3-Dichlorobutane has two chiral centers with one plane of symmetry. Therefore it gives 3 optical isomers. One is dextro, another is levo, both of these are optically active. Third one is meso which is optically inactive.
Excellent sir thank you

This video very helpful me
Glad to hear that. Thanks for watching.
Thanks a lot ...very helpful
very helpful
Excellent !
Very useful one
Stunning
very very nice 👍
Sir in the 1st structure of the class aren't there 2 chiral carbons I.e 2 and 3.....plz tell..
Thank You
When two similiar groups are in opposite side it is known as
Can you please tell me
Thankyou sir
Thank you sir
Sir..in..2 bromo 3 chloro butane we use thik line with Cl and Br... instead of dotted lines is it possible
no, the second carbon is connected to 2 hydrogens.
Thanks sir
Achha explain kiya lekin hindi me kiya hota to aur bhi achha lagta. Thank you Sir
What is this D and L, is it an abbreviation of dextro and levo respectively??
How 2,3 - Dichloro butane is optically active? It should be inactive as it has plane of symmetry
Bro send this ppt
Thanks sir
Welcome
Thankyou sir
