The best way I can think of describing it is "Spanish trumpet player" Take the R rolling from Spanish, and try to push the air through a small opening between your lips, like a trumpet player's buzzing into the mouth piece. It replicates the softness, without the harshness of trying to "speak" the roll if that makes any sense. For a Tiger purr or chuff, bite your bottom lip a bit and try to roll between your teeth. This is more of a staccato or stutter instead of continuous like small cats. Neither are perfect but they work for me and my TMJ jaw

@SenailCooledge The way I can do it, I can inhale and exhale. I trill with my uvula, like in French and German.
