Not sure what a glorified refugee is. But if you leave your home for fear of violence or because it is destroyed by war or disaster, then you ARE a refugee.

I really enjoy these group chats your doing. They are realist and a good reference to what civilians should expect to happen. In the RUclips survival world you get a lot of fantasy scenarios. I’ve watched all of them you have made. Keep doing these please.
Recently found your channel. Really good content. I'm not trying to come off as a keyboard commando. In my situation there is no relocating to avoid whatever comes my way. It seems a lot of people can't accept there are people in that situation for a number of reasons. And react like we're stupid sheep waiting to be led to the slaughter. I think reactions like that show a lack of situational awareness on their part. We're not all in the same situation or have the same capabilities and options. I believe there will be a large number of people who have to shelter in place and we could use help from this channel and guests like you had on this video. It's not the best example but people being trapped in the Warsaw Ghetto comes to mind. People in situations like that would benefit from realistic strategies in similar circumstances.

Wow what an interesting interview today and every bit of it made excellent sense for those who live in the urban areas. I live out in the country up in the hills so if anything would be headed my way I'll just hit the woods I've got enough stuff stashed back in there, whoops I should have never said that but I done did. Y'all brought out y'all's age when you start talkin about those telephones and now I'll bring out my age because I remember them also. Great show today Chris. Selco lived in a city with two armies and gangs, it was a matter of survival and self-defense as last resort. He saw many people die and even more wounded. Even guys in the military don't win, they either die in battle, come home physically wounded, or mentally wounded. Many people live in cities now trying to survive gangs without there being any survival movie going on.
I'm a big fan of these group sessions ya'll are doing. Keep up the good work.

Back in 2020, we were hostages in our apartment building for 3 days. We live downtown in a major city and the cops had shot and killed a guy (that tried to pull a gun out) right under our window. There were thousands of "protesters" in front of our building for days. We didn't know if they would break into our building and set fires or cause mayhem. We were afraid to go out because we might be attacked by the mob. Luckily, they didn't. But it was traumatic and terrifying. We want to move, but we are stuck. We have prepared as best we can for a repeat.

I was in the British army and we was taught Absence of the normal presence of the abnormal. That is one aspect of situational awareness. I think we should put more emphasis on street smarts.
We should listen to the gangbangers who live in this environment day to day. They must have come up with techniques to survive.

Glittering Generalities, Gentlemen. Talk about some specifics. If it becomes necessary for me to leave my car, with my kids, what do I take with me and what do I leave behind?? I can't expect to get too far walking down a back road, with my AR-15 in my hand, armed to the teeth. Am I supposed to "look like one of them" and "blend in" if I'm trying to get across town without my kit?? What do people in Argentina or Brazill, in the cities do?? Give your listeners some useable, practical advice!!
I’m sitting here in early Nov, ‘23 in a DFW suburb. We have lots of Jeeps and pickups in DFW.
That prompted me to realize that many big city dwellers moved to the city for jobs. We came from rural areas so we’re not as incapable as big city dweller stereotypes would indicate.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen that addressed in videos such as this.
Just one of the things my mind thinks about.

My dad delivered our home made shine when I was a kid and he would load all 6 of us kids into the truck along with mom and 40 gallons of likker. Camouflage, I'm 70 now and remembering active usage of this tactic, camo is not all mossy oak.

I have no problem taking some ones life for my family the first time i was shot at i was 15 lol ive been threw alot and protected my life and my sisters life more than once.
I wish I could talk to you rather than post a comment, but I feel a bit of a disconnect. You have interesting discussions with great guests, but it would be nice if your format included actual advice that people can follow rather than just have to listen to different points of views and stories and extract and separate or isolate the useful tidbits that we can learn and follow.
Also understand that many of us watching videos realize many of the military and former government agents are well prepped and many of us want to know what we need to have, to do and how to be ready. Many people show their gear.... lots and lots of gear, a collection of pistols and electronic gear and there is a division between those who promote that as necessary and those that appear to contradict themselves and say we don't need all that they have.
I think your channel can bring us everything if you could include direct advice and suggestions on how to be prepared. Many of us are feeling desperate as we see things getting worse and we all have that feeling that time is running out and prepping will become harder.

Just a thought. I consider many things worse than death. Live free or die is a great motto to live and die by in my opinion. I know in California the Cartels own large swatches of our nation. I hope you realize that even if you get plenty of rest, exercise and eat right, you get to die anyway. Since something is going to kill you, maybe standing tall and doing what you perceive to be the correct thing in accordance with our constitution is an ok choice?

I don't understand this attitude of putting off the defense of your home and homeland to your children. "Just let them have it," he said. This is why this country is in the situation it is. Just run away let it be someone else's problem. Maybe if is a zero chance of winning, but then you regroup. Where are you going to run when there is nowhere left?

Can I ask What cities are you gentlemen located in? I Live here in Los Angeles And there are many great people here. The Crime yall see is not done by 85% of the population in L.A. Like Rural People always saying Stuff about the city. You not even there. It leads me to think All Yall Got Prejudices against Poor people in the City. Or is there a specific Demographic you all are referring too?
At the very beginning, they said outside forces like cartels, gangs, etc usually hit urban areas like large cities first. This is world wide, not just here. There are a lot of rich people in LA too. Don’t look for an offense. Listen to their advice. They have dealt with these situations all over the world for decades. They are trying to help people survive.

In big cities there's more people and if SHTF and there's no more food in the stores, clean water, or medications people need it would make almost anyone do stuff to get those things that they normally wouldn't do. Cities are the last place you want to be stuck if SHTF, there's not too many places to hide
