I've tried so many techniques over the years... wait 2 seconds, wait 3 secs, wait 4 secs, do a quick flick down immediately, do a slow flick down, move your joystick from 9 o'clock to 6 o'clock. Tried em all in private lobbies and public. I've used different controllers... not a single one of all these techniques works on anything remotely close to a regular basis. Pretty much e1 just needs to know that if the wheel isn't gonna stop on the car once it's almost slowed down to a stop, quickly shut down app, which allows you to load back into the game and re-spin to try again.
