  • After a two year subscription with the Loot Crate company this is my personal review of their Fallout themed licensed merchandise.
    Loot Crate provide a service,
    one box every two months.
Six each year, twelve over the span of two years.
Two years later, £657 later, less than twelve boxes later.
Out of 5 here is my review.
    1. Awful
    2. Bad
    3. Okay
    4. Good
    5. Great

I’ve actually had a bad experience with them since this video, my latest crate arrived damaged with items missing.
I’ve left a complaint with both Loot Crate and the shipping company.

I'm a big fan of fallout, however loot crate has been dropping the ball on quality merch while upping the price (damn you inflation!). Feels like quality started falling when the deathclaw figure was being built and the wait on shipping has been abysmal, and I'm in the US.

I have to ask, what is your favourite Fallout game?
I loved Fallout 3 for its story and location, but as an RPG I thought New Vegas was a great game.
And then I will confess I’ve spent over 1,000 hours playing Fallout 4 mostly building settlements and experimenting with mods.

@@nickshobbiesinterests6025 I'd have to agree completely, fallout 3 had a good story and the DLC was fantastic. Fallout New Vegas would have to be my favorite for a great story, wonderful side story in the DLC. And I'll also admit FO4 has been amazing with how easy mods can be applied, creating all sorts of paths and finding new ways to play it.

I never got to finish the drathclaw build. They never sent it, never answered emails sadly.

@@Berserker006 sorry to hear that, it is sad! I’d suggest looking into 3D printing, it’s amazing what you can do now. Anytime I think of something cool I always look to see if I could print a custom piece.
The Deathclaws are so iconic that I imagine printing our own would be easy enough.
I’ll look into it, if I’m successful I’ll add a new video all about the process from Star-End.

Hey Nick, so I've actually had a loot crate subscription for maybe 4-5 years now and have amassed about 40 crates. Most of which are still sealed. I'm in the US actually about 10-15 minute drive from Bethesda Game Studios. I've always wanted to build a fallout shelter/room in my house, but I think I may be getting to the point where the space it's taking up is more valuable to me than the potential of the room(unfortunately). Is there market for these items somewhere? If so, where could I sell them? I'd much prefer to sell everything as a lot, but I'm open to piecing everything out for a higher yield. Thanks in advance!

@@redline198499 hey there, that sounds awesome!
The first two places I would suggest would be Facebook and eBay,
With Facebook you’ll probably get time wasters but you won’t have to pay fees.
EBay however you’ll pay their fee but you won’t get those people wasting your time, occasional messages will come through from interested parties. If you are on Facebook please find our page and message us some photos of your collection! And if you do put your collection on eBay please let us know so we can find you. A Comic-Con event would be a great way to advertise your collection. With the success of the Amazon TV show any fallout merchandise should sell well, here in the UK we’re limited on that sort of thing so I’d recommend maybe thinking about international posting. It comes with a higher risk and would cost a bit more but the right buyer will pay for those additional charges.
      Hope this helps!
      Nick 👍
