Thank you for speaking slowly. I’ve been studying Greek for 2 years now and I still can’t follow native speakers at a normal speed very well at all. Watching the news sounds like just one long word at time. I know I will get better the more I hear and practice. ❤️ your videos. They help so much. Xx
I know how you feel but I 'd recommend you to listen to Greek in a normal speed too. This would help you to get used to the real greek speaking! In the beginning always it's frustrating , but believe me , it helps. Thank you so much❤😊🤩🥰
Thank you so much for speaking really slow. I understood many words, I'm started few months ago to learn Greek, so I really appreciate your way to teach.
I love your videos. I hope that more like this will really help me to understand Greek better. I am actually pleased that I understood so much. Your speed and pronunciation are perfect. Thank you so much!
@@DoYouSpeakGreek Παρακαλώ! Σε ευχαριστούμε εμείς τα βίντεο σας. Όσο για τις φωτογραφίες, είναι δύσκολη η επιλογή, διότι όλες είναι καλές, ίσως το σιντριβάνι με τα αγάλματα και τη βαρκούλα με τη λεζάντα.
Regarding the περιμετρικά ακτές I think that we would say meandering shores or meandering coastline. I know that τυλιχτά ποτάμια or φιδότα ποτάμια = winding rivers
Perfect!! Here I post the transcript of every video on RUclips. It would be nice if you could check it out and send me an email with your corrections. Thank you🥰❤🤩
At 7:30 the perfect translation of έχω τα μαλλιά μου κοτσίδες , η αλλιώς τα λέμε πλεξούδες is: I have plaits in my hair, or we could call them braids. To be exact, English white people usually say that they plait their hair, whereas black people always "braid their hair. In the photo your hair is actually plaited.
In America we use the term braid. The only use I’ve seen of plait is in the King James Version of the Bible, and I didn’t initially know what plaiting was.
@@robertadam3841 Wow really? That's interesting. My sisters have always plaited their hair, I never heard the term braid until I was in my 20's and a black friend described her tiny, tight plaits as braids! I suppose American and English are different languages. Did you know that in English "pants" is describing an item of underwear?
This video was absolutely brilliant . Im starting to understand nearly everything that you say and your videos are brilliant for me. You speak so clearly. Thank you. Regarding your hair at 3:10 - there is no way we could use the word "blonde" for this in English. I realise that ξανθιά is always translated as blonde. But the colour of your hair in the picture is definitely not blonde, it is either brunette or brown. Can you really use the word ξανθιά??? Look for google images of "Blonde hair". (Anyway whatever it is your hair looks beautiful!!!)

This is perfect! Usually when I listen to Greek videos I have to solely read English subtitles cause they speak too fast. This is great. Very helpful.
Thank you. I'd recommend you to speak as much as you can in a real speed💙❤
Reduce video play back speed to 0.75 or 0.5 and enjoy!
