Oh, yea. Done it many times. The small pipettes are what saved me from Super Glue hell. It kinda lets me keep my fingers away and just use a drop at a time. Good luck! ps: nut slot fix only applies when it is an open string buzzing. For buzz when you're fretting notes on the neck, you need to consider a popped up fret, in which case you would either tap them down with a fret setter or glue them back down as covered in this video: ruclips.net/video/b-2MoHMroBw/видео.html
Thanks for the tip. I have a Chinese Fender Starcaster acoustic that was gifted to me brand new. The action was way too high so I had to cut the bridge nut that wiggles in the slot down by half then shim the sides with paper till it didn lean to one side or the other too much. when I was done doing that, the high E buzzes when open Now I know how to fix that. Maybe someday I'll be able to play it as it's been unplayable since new.

I have a string buzzing on my strat. I'm going to try this. I tend to glue my fingers together when I use super glue but it's worth a shot.

Hi, With as much trouble as that nut is causing you, might be better off replacing it completely. Good luck with the acoustic!
