I was rock bottom when I heard this and a light switch went off. I could be wrong but some of these songs written by Zach sound like tough love, and Jim is taking accountability by sharing. This entire album feels like a “sobriety journey”, and now that I’m sober I understand it allllll ❤
This is such a great song and terrific to see that they’re still kicking ass after all these years. I love Jimmy Eat World. They opened with this when I saw them a week ago. My brother and I instantly got hyped.
This is by far their best Record since Futures. They got the intensity back. in the last one and a half minutes they turn into the static prevails modus again
it has the darkness again that sparks the fire. "Chase This Light" is a positivity love bomb, one of my favorites actually, but yeah Clarity is the masterpiece. 🤘🖤

@Don't Call Me White True, I'm a bit biased though because I saw JEW perform PTB live and had never heard the song up until that point. Hearing it live had probably 10x the effect of what you hear on the record. It was amazing.
