just want to add; people seems to be wondering why did this match happened/or what's up with the sudden collaboration. Kagami mentioned, that he wanted to make a space where niji-livers can battle each other freely, so He made a discord server (nijisanji battle city) where niji livers can go to a room and duel each other, regardless of their branch/nationality etc. Thus, the semi(impromptu) collaboration happened. at the night of this match, there's sooooo many duels happening between livers! Everyone just went to duel whoever is available at that time; there's no definite plan about who to battle who. At the original stream, kagami still went to duel with lots other livers from other branches(very recommended to check the archive, and the 2nd one too). Taka ended his stream, but after that he went to others' places as well (with no POV from his side), although not much. The basic idea is 'to bring together everyone with TCG' (Kagami is a huge TCG nerd lmao).
take it with a grain of salt; but this 'small project' happened after the merger was being announced. So Kagami was probably trying to be friendly and open this space to make everyone warming up to each other. (personal view)

Discard the level 4 cydra, this will force taka to activate his supernova banishing only 1 galaxy soldier in the process as the chain resolve backwards. 3. now you have 2 cydra in gy, banish them to make rampage with overload then send 2 cydra to attack twice. Main phase 2 stack rampage with your only galaxy soldier, then Xyz into cyber dragon infinity
@@r3zaful as a cd player, i disagree. he had lethal with that hand i agree up to the fusion summon summon, but then i'd say it's better to dump herz and core - herz triggers adding core from gy - ns core to get a search (cd trap or another fusion, either is fine) -use the power bond in hand to summon another rampage with using the rampage and the core on field -(it has 4200 attack this time) send 2 mons to gy - attack for 12600 with overload if you REALY want to be safe from veiler or imperm you can just search regular cd from deck or gy with herz eff. then you can fusion summon with a cd in hand and the rampage it's lethal either way. if the opp had something, THEN you can end on infinity this duel has caused me physical pain. and i hope ppl don't give up on cd because of it

I don't understand anything about Yu-Gi-Oh, modern or not, but these streams were so entertaining that I ended up watching a few of them. I love that we got so many interesting mini collabs from these, & hopefully even greater things will come out from it.
1:36 tbf he could have gone with the knight's effect since people usually won't just use the negate on it knowing cydra has tons of recursion, then you follow up with drei make it 5 stars, they most likely wouldn't negate that play either because you already got a 5 star and have another one in hand possibly ready to summon, make nova, then it's the smartest banish per turn for them because you will go into infinity, they vanish and the materials go to grave then you dark fusion into rampage chimeratech, send a herz and a core just in case, do the 6300 damage, then if you get a next turn nova comes back gets to either absorb or pop the dragon and then I guess you'd be to the mercy of whatever you got from the draw for turn but knowing you have a cydra and the powerbond in hand is difficult that whatever you draw doesn't get you ar least a twin headed cydra, worst case you go into the link summon and hope they don't have removal or don't read the card and attack

Imma be honest, sorry if I am triggering people but uh.... during an anime con or event and it was my first time going there, so this is a lil storytime and I remember back then there was Yu-Gi-Oh competition. So when I looked at it, like I forgot or never attention to what was Yu-Gi-Oh that in the moment I saw the competition, I thought it was like a drawing competition actually by mistake and luckily I didn't say anything about it to so yeah, but after seeing taka played it along with other livers now I understand that it's a card battle.
I wish there were four more Nijisanji livers playing master duel so they could organize (alongside takami, taka, rosemi and mao) a little tournament for the title of best Nijisanji duelist
