Because she’s a terrible person lol Sometimes, it’s just that simple. Look into her life before she faked this kidnapping…she’s ALWAYS been awful.
Narcissism. She loved knowing that people were worrying over her absence, that something awful may have happened to her and I'm guessing that only when it began to slightly die down in the media, she is suddenly "set free" and is revealed to be alive and well and the media attention begins anew.
Undoubtedly, Sherri took great pleasure with all of the attention, throughout the whole process.
