Thank you for this. Please note the creator of every reference and source. It’s important for validating your reporting-because you are giving facts and informative background age as well as your experiential interview with an insider view. Anything that happens to your interviewee-we will know what direction it came from and who is responsible. Making things transparent and public is the only way to guard against the misused power and bad actors and unjust repercussions of religious organizations, family businesses and big corporations, even government administrations and agencies. Organizations will evolve to protect and perpetuate the org itself and influential members. They thrive on secrecy.
I don't think you should steer away from anything if the church actually believes it. the problem is the church actually does believe those things they just don't talk about it.
I very much appreciate your whistle blowing!! It's just not going to change. One of those things that I've found to be very sad about religion is they teach us to ignore our own inner voice if it's contradictory to the teachings.
Remember, Ryan: you’re not damaging Tim Ballard’s reputation, he did that to himself. You’re just updating it, making it more accurate. The same goes for the church and Elder Ballard.
Sounds like Tim B. had a second anointing/ calling and election made sure by the brethren and his wife. Yikes!😮 See further info on this at Mormon Stories.
Chad Daybell is currently on trial for triple murder and facing the death penalty. JJ and Tylee Vallow as well as his wife Tammy Daybell. Lori’s ex-husband, Charles was also shot and killed by Lori’s brother.
And it is suspected that Joe Vallow did not die of natural causes. Possibly also Chad’s neighbor who kept reporting him. And Alex may either ended himself or was helped to die. And there was a big old list of ‘dark’ folks, including Brandon Beaudreux, who they tried to kill. Kay, Heather, Brandon’s kids, on and on.
So eloquent and well thought out-the connections and understanding of human nature and motivations and the prophecy vacuum and conditioned member hungry for prophecy-YES Never heard it described that way and it makes so much sense.
Hey Cara, have a chat with Lauren about this. She told that Julie Rowe and Chad Daybell have had a private visit with Thom Harrison and received a blessing. Tim Ballard has come up in the Daybell trial 2 x already. You might be able to work together?
Do you know anything more about how Angel Studios and/or Covenant Eyes plays into the broadening of Mormonism into a wider “Christian” umbrella? They were both financially invested in Tim Ballard, but maybe only because of this bigger agenda?
I can't even explain how many of my fellow LDS friends believe in this crap. It shocks me that as LDS, we say these people are fringe when it's more mainstream than people will recognize
Thank you brave Ryan!!! And amazing Carah for your vulnerability and truth telling and further exposing the dark side of the Mo cult. Everybody sing: do what is right ⚡️
I remember having a strong sense of injustice and righteous indignation in regards to Deseret Book as a teenager-like it seemed to encourage that the more you bought 💸, the more righteous you were-it seemed to be both working against poor people and giving rich people indulgences and simony. Like the selling in the temple walls that biblical Jesus railed and flailed against. From the middle class Bible carriers and inspirational/faith promoting books and temple suitcases and dresses to the fun “can’t touch this t shirts of three male torsos in the 🔥 fire of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. I’m so conflicted about Sheri Dew because she seems to stand for what is right and not bow to pressure to marry and stand up for herself but she perpetuates Deseret Book with unverified stories and promises that prophets can see around corners. What are the monetary reasons and what are the personal belief and conviction reasons for doing so?
I’ve been following this since you brought it up on Dehlin’s show. Is it that the church is shrinking and so End Times is being weaponized to keep the people there out of fear?
Learning about the blessing from Pres Ballard adds so much context to the moment he lost his $hit on camera when he got the news that he was denounced.
Keep doing what you are doing- you are the real one saving the women and children out there. It takes bravery and conviction to stand up for what's right and true.. and that should always be acknowledged and applauded...
It’s almost as if Thom Harrison is starting little cue’s within the LDS religion. Getting people to do his ground work and then swooping in to take over as prophetic leader!
This and the crazy apocalyptic political worldview is why I couldn’t take it from this church anymore. The church will not renounce Thom Harrison or that VoG book. The won’t because of Harrison’s affiliation with Neal A Maxwell because to renounce Harrison and that VoG book is to renounce Maxwell and they won’t go there.
It's not such a simple thing to convert to Catholicism....There's a year long program called R.C.I.A that has to be completed, then Baptism, Confession and then Communion......A person can't just say they're now a Catholic.....(Catholic here)

If a person is having visions, they should immediately seek medical care.
Why do they always repeat the idea that women accuse to get money. Man, that’s such a common repeat and repeat. It’s old and overused.
Especially since their lives are destroyed.
Especially when it’s men using those women TO GET MONEY.
@@cwb1400and the price they pay can never be compensated by any amount of money.
So many women don't come forward because of the price they pay.
We need to normalize conversations like this from all over the mormon spectrum.
Also, Ryan is one brave man. More brave and strong than Timmy is.
I don't think you should steer away from anything if the church actually believes it. the problem is the church actually does believe those things they just don't talk about it.
Great episode! Thank you 🙏🏻
Wow Tim Ballard was a much needed hero or so I thought! He has seriously left the reservation😗 How sad x
Fantastic interview! Thanks, Ryan and Carrah! These women deserve justice!

Im excited to see how you put this all together in your documentary.
How many of the major players in this story are trained in NLP?

Tim has worn a masonic pins in older interviews can Ryan talk about that?
Really excellent , high level truth being told here. Wow!
Ketamine is an amnesiac. Anything you ask the person they will answer. I am an ER nurse 13 year experience
So eloquent and well thought out-the connections and understanding of human nature and motivations and the prophecy vacuum and conditioned member hungry for prophecy-YES
Never heard it described that way and it makes so much sense.
Hey Cara, have a chat with Lauren about this. She told that Julie Rowe and Chad Daybell have had a private visit with Thom Harrison and received a blessing. Tim Ballard has come up in the Daybell trial 2 x already. You might be able to work together?
Love this and Lauren and Dr John Matthias. Not Mattheson. I really admire you both.😊
Do you know anything more about how Angel Studios and/or Covenant Eyes plays into the broadening of Mormonism into a wider “Christian” umbrella? They were both financially invested in Tim Ballard, but maybe only because of this bigger agenda?
And what about Jim Caviezal? Are y'all implicating him in any of this, or was he just a useful fence or blind?
Mel G says he's still working on a sequel.
Do you think people will go for, 'The Passion of Christ: The Latter Years'?
@@raydunn8262Good one 😂😂
He's on his own bullshit - he's a die-hard QAnon turd.
Jim Caviezal has been religious zealot since always- this movie/mission undoubtedly spoke to his savior complex.

I can't even explain how many of my fellow LDS friends believe in this crap. It shocks me that as LDS, we say these people are fringe when it's more mainstream than people will recognize
Love you so much Cara. Excellent show.
OK, now we're getting somewhere.
After listening to the allegations at the end, Bloodywood's "Dana-dan" music video was exactly what I needed
What an eye opener episode. Yes...putting the pieces together sure helps put this UGLY picture together. What a horrible tangled mess.
This books definitely have taken people by the storm...
I’ve been following this since you brought it up on Dehlin’s show. Is it that the church is shrinking and so End Times is being weaponized to keep the people there out of fear?

Now that you mention it, that theory does explain a lot !

Joseph Smith would be so proud of Ballard--or jealous. haha
I would love a conversation with Lauren and Carah..
Wow what amazing deep honesty and vulnerability Ryan shows at the start.... Powerful, amazing, and brave.... the anti-toxic-masculinity

Keep doing what you are doing- you are the real one saving the women and children out there. It takes bravery and conviction to stand up for what's right and true.. and that should always be acknowledged and applauded...
That is a tangled web of deceit.
It’s almost as if Thom Harrison is starting little cue’s within the LDS religion. Getting people to do his ground work and then swooping in to take over as prophetic leader!
I really hope no kids got sent for after care to that man.
