PEAFOWL ☜❤☞ native to the jungles of India and Sri Lanka, have for centuries led a semi - domesticated existence in parks and gardens of the world. Peacocks use their beautiful tail feathers to attract the females (peahens) in breeding season. They actually can seem somewhat vain and proud of how they look to the 'ladies'. They raise and fan the feathers out, prance and strut while intermittently shaking their wing and tail feathers rapidly which make a loud rustling sound as they pose and show off their striking plumage. Generally the males and females lead separate lives. In the breeding season however, the males are polygamous, and mate with four or five females each breeding season. Although they are ground - living birds, they flap up into trees or other roosting spots off the ground away from predators.
PIED PEACOCK appear like regular india blues, except that they are speckled and splotched with white. Exceptional birds will have white on their backs and in their train.

Peacock is for sure the most beautiful bird... Once he displays, no one can escape the magical effect of it. My pet is a little baby peacock. I feel amazing by being a part of this beautiful bird.

I've never seen a pied peacock before. Lovely video.
Hi just stopping by to what a beautiful video, i have watched many times, I have 20 peafowls, 4 different breeds, and I hope next year to be able to get a pied like this through breeding them, as i have white, black shoulder Indian blue and also Java, we never tire of them they are just so beautiful!, we live out in the Western Isles of Scotland, we hatched them and they have all been bought up together, thank you for a beautiful video i faved itthey are a great pleasure to be with regards Peter

I filmed him while in Tasmania. That's the small island below Australia. I recall, he was quite the *star* very beautiful, always willing to show off his magnificent tail, and with that white starburst in the centre, it made him look quite unique.
