Really appreciate your videos ❤ I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression aged 19, then BPD aged 32 and finally Autism and ADHD aged 40! My entire life now makes sense 💡 I'm thinking about sharing on RUclips too- especially coping with everyday life stuff like setting up home, finances, and what support is on offer etc. Keep doing what you're doing! It's so good to have relatable content 😊xxx
This has been incredibly insightful for me. While I don’t have any diagnosed disorders myself, I’ve been in a relationship with someone who exhibited the EXACT symptoms as you, including the rage while not being on the medication. Looking back, I realize it wasn’t love but a trauma bond. It’s striking how similar you both are, mentally and physically. Understanding this trauma bond now makes everything clearer. Your videos have been more beneficial than any therapy sessions I’ve had. In fact, a session with you might be even more impactful as it will help my mind to make sense of what happened. Thank you! 🙏
Wow, thank you so so much for tipping me! This is my first one and I’m so beyond grateful, thank you! I’m so happy I could help you and give you more understanding, this is exactly why I do this! I hope you’re well and have a fantastic rest of your week!!! 🩷
I needed this ❤ thank you! I have bipolar 2 and bpd along with depression and I stopped taking my meds 1.5 weeks ago and I do feel horrible so thank you I’ll start taking them again
I stopped taking my meds for about 6 months and was in complete denial about how bad I was getting.. I started back up on the lowest dose, and also use medical cannabis daily. It's been a life saver.
I was on mirtazapine but i stopped because they made me anxiety so much worse, panic attacks every day plus the weight gain and constant drowsiness. I feel so much more alive without, but i do wish there was something that worked because im still depressed
Omg I’m sure I was on that for a month years ago and it was AWFUL!!! I was a zombie I couldn’t function! I’ve tried almost all of the medications available before I found one that works for me!
Hi Glo what medication do you take? Antidepressants dont work on me, have tried over 10 of them all diff types, and docs wont put me on mood stabilisers or anti pysc meds so just stuck with nothing x
I’ve tried sooo many until I landed on 10mg of Escitalopram! I was on sertraline and quetiapine for a while and I don’t think either helped. I tried fluoxetine but that had so many horrible side effects. I’m currently also prescribed cannabis which is a life saver! Xx
Same for me, nothing worked untill I tried Voxra (don't know the name of this medicine outside sweden) But finally I'm workin a bit more normal , and it was a blessing 🙏🏼
I refuse meds these days. They’re all just bandaids. I’d consider them if I had a chemical imbalance but I have BPD which is not an imbalance. I do also have GAD, C-PTSD, OCD, etc. I’m currently in a DBt program and it’s been more beneficial for BPD than any med I’ve never been on. Other therapies haven’t worked. Only DBT in a group setting.
What's really scary is that the chemical imbalance theory has been completely debunked so why are these toxic meds still being given out like candy? Big Pharma and zombifying people some became easily controlled and passive spring to mind 😢

I can't take meds for the bpd but i relate to how horrible the experience of getting off of them can be

O dear. I'm on just an antidepressant but i was thinking that it's not working and what's the point, but i didn't stop taking them, yay

They caused depersonalisation and derealization for me 😬 Very unpleasant!

Hello. Whats meds do you take?
Escitaloptam & medical cannabis :)
Hi Glo what medication do you take? Antidepressants dont work on me, have tried over 10 of them all diff types, and docs wont put me on mood stabilisers or anti pysc meds so just stuck with nothing x
have you heard of Ketamine therapy? It's a new option for treatment-resistant depression, maybe there is a clinic near you?
I’ve tried sooo many until I landed on 10mg of Escitalopram! I was on sertraline and quetiapine for a while and I don’t think either helped. I tried fluoxetine but that had so many horrible side effects. I’m currently also prescribed cannabis which is a life saver! Xx

I am sorry you have to go through this, please don't be hard on yourself ❤, so you stopped 10 mg escitalopram cold turkey?
Kind of yeah I went from 20 to 10 then stopped after a couple months. I won’t be making that mistake again lol!

Me too. The best thing I've ever done is shadow work. Two years of that has done more than 19 years of traditional therapy put together ❤
