Nissan GTR Rexpeed Carbon Fiber Kansai (K1) Lip Unboxing and Install

A quick install of the Rexpeed K1 lip on my 2014 Nissan GTR Black Edition. The install was pretty straight forward but there was a manufacturing issue that left a gap on the driver side. JD Customs is working with Rexpeed to get it replaced, I'll follow up with another video when I get a resolution.

I just wanted to say, I have this exact lip and I have the same 'gap' on the driver side.

Just scratched the hell out of the underside of my lip on a high curb was going to order the full one piece carbon fibre but seen this just going to do the lip far cheaper also rivets with bigger head like original better idea

Looks great, just ordered the same lip. What size bit did you use to drill the holes for the bottom rivets?

I believe I used a 3/16 drill bit. Also on the bottom, make sure you're drilling both through the carbon fiber and the plastic part of the lip (so pretty close to the edge) - when i put on the 2nd lip I received, I noticed that some of my holes on the first lip only went through the CF and weren't actually going into the plastic portion...

Can you provide more info about the tools you used for it? I’m trying to install my front lip also, thanks

I think it was mostly just socket wrenches and a pop rivet gun.

Which model are the side skirts? And any issues driving at high speed (120+) with the lip?

Rexpeed for the side skirts and lip. No problems at high speed.
