*Being a comic writer is hard nowadays* I pitched my superhero series to Marvel and DC 2 years ago and didn’t get a response.. The character was named “Kyle Kray” and his superpower was after his wife left him.. Anubis was to come and visit him in the night while he’s crying and give him *The Wifebeater Vest of ANUBIS* ! The most powerful item in the universe.. the vest was meant to give you super-strength and fighting abilities of the gods.. however.. the powers only worked on women - so the character just kind of antagonised women on the street due to the hatred of his ex wife - so he could bring down the wrath of the gods on them.. he was meant to start a crew called “The Misogyny Maestros” but it never got picked up.. it’s hard out here.

So you try to speed up to get past so they don't think you're following but then they kinda start speeding up too and you're like:
"Sh## they already do." so you speed up more to make sure you get past so they definitely know you're not chasing them but they start running and you're like: "Damn it's all or NOTHING NOW." so it just becomes an all out race, one of you terrified for your life, the other terrified for their reputation in the area.

I solve that issue by just being so damn quiet and fast people don't know I'm behind them until I'm passing them. It creates a different kind of terror - more jumpscare than creeping dread. I'd like to think women out there appreciate me mixing things up a little - rather than just being scared of guys following them from a distance now it adds the omnipresent threat of the speedwalkers; it adds a bit of diversity in their paranoia to keep it fresh.
Jokes aside my average walking pace is like double to triple a normal person's speed so this isn't too untrue but I cross the road rather than pass them directly. Now I ain't following them - they're following me, ya damn creepy ladies!
