if they would just make their dice packs or bundles cheaper im sure a lot of ppl would be willing to shell out money. like $60-$100 for a wild sticker and couple hundreds of dice? thats madness, compared to other mobile games where you can just spend like $1-2 and get a lot of value out of it.
They absolutely breed a toxic environment. Think about how all your extra cards are wiped out when you complete an album. So you keep trading and trading, but now you're down to the last card. You need to improve your chances of being able to complete your album, so you hoard as many as possible and trade for the last one. *BOOM* Now you can't even gift away the rest to people who need them. They force you into winning specifically at the expense of others when it would cost them nothing to do otherwise. That's sadistic.
And the difference between what Scopoly is doing and an actual casino Is it that an actual casino will get shut down when their games are determined to be rigged.

I think one of the biggest in your face money grab aspects of the game is the million purchase pop ups, that used to only show up when you completely ran out of dice, but now pop up when you just get low on dice, every time you log on, sometimes even just because after a bank heist even if you have plenty of dice! Like quit pushing it, I know it's there, if I want it, you don't need to keep shoving it in my face! I said no! scopely No!
When this album is over, i will be retiring. Airplane mode isnt working for me and the game is no longer fun. I am in a trading group and i will continue for 12 more days just to help them get stickers. Then I'm out.
Same. The last dig event was the first I wasn't able to finish and the amount I spent trying to is just shameful. They've got the rolls rigged so bad, everything has been slowly chipped away, giving you less and less, they've gotten far too greedy with it and it's just not fun anymore when you can't ever win or finish anything without having to pay exorbitant amounts.

There is a way you can still do it without using a VPN. Hook a secondary device to a mobile hotspot on a different device. Then just turn off the mobile hotspot rather than turning on APM. It works exactly like it did before they did the patch.
It’s so annoying I’m about to uninstall! Everytime I get down to trying to collect the last 10 stickers to complete albums. It becomes literally impossible to get a new sticker no matter how many blue or purple packs I open. Totally rigged!!

Last album I was 7 golds away from finishing with 2 weeks left in the album, I thought I'd never finish it so so resigned to gifting my extras and trying to help others finish. When I started doing that I ended up getting the exact golds I needed and ended up finishing the prestige album with a day to spare! Now the current album, I've been goldlocked and gifting for the past week. Again, I needed 7 golds, now I'm down to only needing 4. 3 new golds in 1 week is an above average accumulation. I've also gotten 5s in unexpected places like an orange sticker pack too. I don't usually make it far enough in the tournament's to get blue or purple packs either. One of the 4* golds I got came from a pink pack.
@seimonsyer27 I am in a gifting group where all we do is gift every day all our sends. I am not seeing what you are saying, gold locked at 4 for awhile now. Packs are giving me nothing but dupes. Nothing in chest or vault but dupes, but if it is working for you, good on you!
Btw, this might be interesting but having an alternative account or a trusted friend is great, I knew that if i oponed the vault i would be getting the last card i need ( was beatboxer) So when the album was about to be completed, i sent 3 5 🌟 and 2-4 ⭐ i had before the reset of the trades then sent 5-4 ⭐ after reset and got the album complete, then started a the new album with 3-5 ⭐ 7-4 ⭐ 😂
I downloaded the game with the intent of giving it a 72 hour try. I'd seen the ads, some facebook friends played the game... Less than 16 hours later, I un-installed the game.
I stopped playing monopoly Go about 3 months back. The game is literally taking over people's lives. It is either you spend money or time using APM. I just said to myself “all this building, completing album and starting all over again then what next?

I have no idea what you are talking about. I discovered it a month back and I am playing it continously. Truly the number 1 rated board game on Play Store. But only 6 days remain for Stickers. What happens after that? Is it set to restart to find all 189 stickers within 30 days? Anyways, I still need 15 stickers and it is becoming tougher every day.
APM hasn’t been working for me. Whenever I go into APM, i almost automatically get the no connection message. Has anybody else noticed this? Or know of a workaround?
I've been playing the game since januari 2023 I believe when it wasn't released globally yet but only a few countries. Never completed any card album yet though. And yes I saw the community getting more and more toxic. Some idiot asked €20 for a card I needed. I mean come on it's just a game! I'm not going to pay and cheating is not my thing either. I hate it Scopely made things more hard to deal with the cheating
I can’t do apm anymore even with vpn I had 244k dice 6 cards away from my 3rd album finish now I’m considering burning the rest of my dice and deleting the app if there’s no way around the apm patch this games trash to me
@@Yooosin mod apk for android that bypasses the no internet popup n u can log 30-40 rolls. Seems like mod apk is the way forward.. Theres one for ios that needs u to install sideloadly on ur pc first. Dunno how secure it is but people get 100+ rolls with that. Absolutely game breaking
@@Yooosin I think it might be monopoly go scripts. It's a 3rd market app that I think is a way to workaround the new apm shutdown. I read a little about it in one of my fb groups but I think it's still a bit of a work in progress, has a huge waitlist, you have to use a computer to download it, and I'm not entirely sure how it works exactly...
It still works for me but im at a Low Level, around 10,000pts and I can still get upto 10 Rolls on APM so maybe if you go Too Far ahead in the game then they jump on you cos no “Honest” players could ever reach 30,000pts so quickly. Maybe restart your account from 0pts and see how you get on ?

Not really. Have you ever noticed that when there's an event where you need to land on the corner pieces, you never do? And then when it switches to chance and community chest, all the sudden you're landing on the corners like crazy. There's no way that's random.

@@michelejohnson5497 I played MG on an emulator on my desktop computer. I used my phone to supply the internet. When I wanted to do the "APM trick", I just shut off the hotspot on the mobile device. Since the mobile device still technically has internet, it fools Scopely's pings into thinking you're still connected until they queue for the actual data.
This is really doing my head in airplane mode hack. So once airplane mode is on roll the count write down each roll till retry pops out then go out shut down clear data turn on airplane mode log back in and some how i am not where i should be. I have moved 1 roll backwards so to over come this i starting rolling 1x1 roll before doing airplane mode then it started going back 1 to 4 mives. So i adjusted and started rolling 4x1 rolls before doing airplane. Believe it or not thats not whats doing my head in. What is : when in airplane mode and im rolling and counting each roll wait for retry to pop up i shut down go through all the steps log back i have moved forward 1 to 4 rolls ahead. Usually at 100 max its 1 to2 rolls ahead and at 1000 rolls its now 4 moves ahead. I have a monopoly board and before i am about to do airplane mode i place a counter on the board of where i should be. When using a multiplier i loose alot of dice. My question is how the hell can they do that as its not a roll technically played yet???? Please help
Yep. In the time it took me to figure out how to get around that, my addiction was broken and I haven't played it since. In a way I'm kind of grateful because I have a lot more free time now.
I think it’s because so many ppl were selling stickers and selling carries. Thats money Monopoly go is losing. I’ve seen ppl say it was cheaper to buy a sticker from other ppl than to buy them on the app.
They don’t play the dice value. You roll a six and they will run a 4 or7 places. So you skip the good sites. Even the shields are tough to get sometimes it was more fun to play before the upgrade

There is a way you can still do it without using a VPN. Hook a secondary device to a mobile hotspot on a different device. Then just turn off the mobile hotspot rather than turning on APM.
It works exactly like it did before they did the patch.
But by the time I figure that out my addiction was broken. But maybe that can help someone else that wants to do But maybe this can help someone else :)
I keep on trying airplane mode 😅😅😅😅😅 if it stops working and I loose all my dices I'm done 😅
