I've had the wheel one for over a year, you have to just not have a ton of product on the wheel, and don't press too hard to see the line. She's wrong to say it's useless, it's actually very helpful if you give it a chance
I have hooded eyes and normally use a super thin, tiny paint brush to put on liner, but the tarte brush is awesome. I have had mine for years and it has held up very well. im not sure if anyone knew this but for stamp eyeliner you gotta drag it until it reaches where you want it to stop and not just stamping it on. and only after that you can use the normal liner brush to clean it out and make it more precise. hope this help !!
