This movie looked old when it was released with its aging cast and special effects by Ray Harryhausen. The sea monster threatening Andromeda is called the Kraken rather than Cetus. The Kraken was a monster in Norse mythology. The Kraken and Medusa are the titans. Perseus rides the winged horse Pegasus. Harryhausen created stop-motion animation.
