I'v said so many times this guy is the best on youtube hands down when it comes to honda's (DIY) He's the one that made me start my dream honda build, 2 years on im still building and its almost done. Thank You so much Sir for what u do on this channel. From you're freind and Fan from Ireland.
I really do appreciate this video because I am a awd wagon owner and I have faced a lot of grief with the serviceability of the bearing parts. I have read that bisimoto installed crv trailing arms straight onto his wagon with a camber arm modification/adjustment. To me that is hype. I think you'd be really happy to fix up a jig to incorporate crv over wagon in the future. Only cuz crv parts are still available and I've been searching the globe for wagon parts and it's feasible but so niche and expensive. I think aftermarket crv parts and the overall better design for bearing serviceable makes them preferable. No criticism at all I'm just a geek and wanted to share what I've faced as a wagon owner trying to keep this thing on the road. Lol. Props to your builds above boostedboiz imho. You do the work yourself and still pull off these amazing cars. Props. Goals af
You've gotten so much better with your content, so educational and you always give thorough explanation's for the budget guy's out here. While Brian & Hush just brushed on it your actually making it happen!! Respect, you are truly appreciated bro!! BTW i picked up 16 gauge today, so are some really 18 gauge.....lol trying to save a dollar!!
Thanks for showing us this custom project for the trailing arms. I don't plan on doing this but now we all know that they are almost the same. Thanks again bro.
Thug life do your thang bro!! Making something out of nothing for years ive been watching your vids. You the GOAT of diy and making things work with what you got.
Hell yeah looking hella claim coming right along great job bro great welding great all-around build keep up the great content can't wait to see it run once again with all four wheels this time lol
Dude this is awesome!! I plan to h2b my prelude with a crv trans and go and this help a ton with my rear diff issue I was having. Great video people focus and pay attention class is in session ha ha ha lol!
Hey bro I love watching your videos they are truely awesome and inspiring I've finished my level 3 automotive your videos impose and can teach peepz by watching and listening to your methods bruh. Keep it up can't wait till we see the CRX on the track ALL THE WAY FROM NEW ZEALAND PEACE OUT.
One tip for welding, do some stitches. The reason for that is, if one weld starts to crack, it doesn't effect the other welds. Joining all the welds may be strong, but if a crack starts, then it is all compromised.
Rear brakes are not that bad. People say they are hard and a pain. Chrisfix has a good detailed video on it. I like to use vice grips for the springs and some muscle. You'll be mint bro
Got that Dana touch! Are the rear hubs and bearings not interchangeable with the stock trailing arms. Meaning putting AWD bearings and hub in the stock FWD trailing arm
i mentioned in the last video that you ca use awd hub and bearings in a regular rta with mods. i already had the wagon rta to use so wouldnt have to spend more money.
I need to get a welder and get some practice in. Gonna start with a stick welder tho. Get that tougher learning curve under my belt then move onto mig and should be able to just rock higher quality welds than if I'd started mig. Want to be able to fabricate like this for a project car.
Use the stock rta and make mounts from it. Measure and cut the awd rta and Match it with the front half of fwd rta. Basically realigning the mounting all the holes
Good work they look great. Looking forward to this finally being completed. Quick question, do you have an good advice you can offer when looking to get a CRX?
Body, look for rust. If it’s ok with your standard, check out the engine. Make sure it’s mechanically sound. Ask for service records if any. Drive it, drive ability is important. Squeaks clunking etc
A properly dialed in mig sounds like frying bacon, and WHO doesnt like the sound of bacon frying!

Go look up cb7 awd.... The accords and preludes are alot different from a civic
That will be a tough swap. Pretty sure the prelude is wider not sure though. Might be easier just to make it mid engine. Either way best of luck.
I don't think that will be the issue. Wheels can be wider. Look at the video I talked about
I got all my trans from the crv but rearend is from a element
Young Static isn’t messing around 👀 Better unmute when looking at these videos👍🏽

Great video as usual. Glad the other arm went smoothly. How's the new machine?
Lovin’ it!
why not over lap the 2 sections and weld them together and plug weld middle
Creeping on 50k subs!!
awesome great job
Just curious why didn't tig weld the trailing arm ?
Ran out of argon that night and hard to weld areas. The mig was more practical
So do you think I should listen to videos as I watch them?
What amp & speed are you running your welder?
Based off the chart, I believe e4 or e5 but .030 wire
how much was the machine and the thank all together?
elcompaernie 10 like 1k
How did you make the setup that you have the trailing arms mounted on?
Use the stock rta and make mounts from it. Measure and cut the awd rta and Match it with the front half of fwd rta. Basically realigning the mounting all the holes
Bro i had the same problem with my g35..problem was air in the cooling system
Latommla has a video how how to convert drums to disc he used a kit
