I think Kendrick knew after “Damn” he was going to take on the industry. He just had air out his own laundry so nobody could use it against him. He’s been planning this for awhile I’m sure.
@@lytrbug1789Thank you for being here. And i swear that song almost made me breakdown. It’s crazy how music feels like it was made for you personally. It’s like going to church on Sunday and that sermon sounds like it was made for you.
I’m a GenXer who grew up side by side with HipHop. Hard to explain. But, in my opinion, this album takes me back to that pure 80’s hard after hours radio HipHop chopped mix flow. It also cleanses the pallet of all the poser “stuff” that’s been happening. It “rewinds” us “back” but at the same time “fast forwards” us to a time of fresh, open, and new creative canvases that hopefully sparks endless possibilities for other artists to now clearly see ways forward. Feels like it’s about to be like back in the day when everybody had their own flow, styles, vibes..,instead of the cookie cut sound of the week trends that’s been happening. Makes me hope Dot has forced his peers to shed the apathy and quick hit laziness of bandwagon riding. Maybe we’re witnessing the reincarnation of HipHop! GenXers were cast as the lost cause X factor gen. But our impact is undeniable. We reset, start things over… GNX is doing the same! Thanks KDot!!!

That Tupac video was one of the main reasons I subscribed. Congrats on the 15k subscribers and the new space! Keep putting out the dope content, and they'll keep subscribing. It's great to see someone back east give some love to the West Coast and the Bay Area no less. LaRussell is from Vallejo, CA (East Bay). I agree with everything you're talking about in this video. Blue Lips should be Best Rap Album, period. Vince dropped his best album to date. I think you are one of the rare content creators that seems to really dig Soul Burger. I think it was well executed, and I mess with it. Our artists really did own this year. So maybe we should get you out of that LOX hat and into an NWA or Crenshaw one? 😉 I'm old enough to remember pops celebrating the 1986 World Series, so it has been a while for the Mets. You watch basketball? If so, I think the Knicks are going to be one of the best teams in the league once we learn how to play D more consistently. I won't even talk about football. 😬
I just know you would love the West! LA is a hop away from Las Vegas! You getting a lot in a medium sized diameter of land. I can endorse it as a great place to visit!
The west coast always had the better rappers no disrespect to the East Coast but yall were the ones that said the West and South were not Hip Hop. But i love all coasts but if i had to choose im picking West and South all day

You actually caught that he never actually calls drake a pedo. He points everything at the guy in drake's crew with a case. It was great wordplay and song making to make everyone point it at drake. Drake do have tendencies though, just like things where said about Diddy back in the day.
