Heartbreaking to watch this considering how the industry ended up absolutely tearing her down in the end. She seemingly lost everything. She rose to fame and icon status and then came barreling down. She doesn't seem the same anymore. They really traumatized her. She has a hurt look in her eyes when I see pix of her nowwadays. Heath Ledger's death really affected her
I wouldn't say she lost everything. It seemed to me like when she stepped back from modelling, she had already accomplished everything most women in the industry could only dream of, not without ill consequences for her health, of course, but she had already been at the top. It's not like she was left destitute, she was rich, and as an icon, would always have doors of opportunity open to her. Not to invalidate the mental and emotional cost of it, of course, but it really shows that she had a good support behind her to make a decision like she did, stepping away from modelling that young, instead of being pressured to break herself down until she was a husk of herself. Now she seems happy with her beautiful family and her modelling feels more like a passion job and side hustle rather than the center of her universe.
She loved that man so bad of course his death It would have a huge impact on her life also she was very young Heath was probably the first man of her Life.
They just didn't say it clearly, & the video's labeled Gemma Ward so was just wondering-simply a question you don't have to get defensive whenever someone posts a ?.

Everyone keeps referring to Gemma as a "woman" - here, she is a CHILD.
