Micah Makanamaikalani Christenson (born May 8, 1993) is an American volleyball player, a member of the United States men's national volleyball team and Italian club Modena. Christenson was NORCECA Champion 2013, gold medalist of World League 2014 and 2015 World Cup, and bronze medalist in Olympic Games 2016.
He was supposed to play on the 2013 U.S. Men’s Junior National Team, but got called up to the senior team instead. He debuted with the U.S. national team at the NORCECA Championship, which USA won; Christenson was named Best Server and Best Setter in this tournament.[2] He also competed in the 2013 FIVB World Grand Champions Cup. In 2014 he won the gold medal at the World League, held in Florence, Italy.[3] He began senior level competition at age 20. He is the youngest starting setter to ever compete for the U.S. on a national team for both junior level and senior level.[4]
At club level, he won the 2016-2017 Superlega, Italy's top championship, with Cucine Lube Civitanova.

At 6'6", he's probably one of the tallest setters in the world. Add talent and ambidextrous, you get a complete package.

In my opinion, he's the best setter in the world. He has excellent ball control, is a very disciplined blocker, a deceptive server, and has the ability to swing with his left hand, making him a very deadly weapon to go over on 2. Additionally, his decision making and ability to spread the ball around almost guarantees a single block or no block at all for his hitters on an in-system ball.

Apparently, DeFalco has been working really hard on his jump! I don't remember him jumping that high! As far as Christenson, he is very simply one of the top volleyball setters (and overall players) in the world!
