Video Teaser Alert! What instrument can you hear playing? It will feature in a long and detailed video coming tomorrow, Saturday 6th January, at approx 8pm UK time.
The attack sounds like a Wurly - especially with higher pitches. These days it’s hard to tell if there’s a layered pad/string sound or a loop of the sustain.
Sampled or not - it sounds more like a Vintage Vibe or Dyno Rhodes than an original one, brighter with more attack. The pad could come from any poly synth in the world; it is too hi-cut to hear any characteristics.
A sampled or modelled Rhodes MK2 (with a lot mechanic noises added which ruins the illusion a bit) and a synth pad. And I hear very nice and soulfull playing. 🫖
I'm going out on a limb and say the Behringer UB-XA. It can definitely make those sounds and it would be more un-guess-able than the obvious choice a Rhodes.
Initially it sounds like a Rhodes but there's a pad-like sustain after the initial transient sounds un-Rhodes-like. So clearly it's a synth (or a sampler/synth combination), question is which one. Could be any one of at least a dozen candidates. Is it a Casio? It's a Casio isn't it? I got it right didn't I?
Electric Piano made with a synthesizer...
Gonna go out on a limb and say it's a (heavily processed) wine glass
Electric piano (most likely a Fender Rhodes) w/a string pad underneath. Personally I prefer the Roland FANTOM-8's version.😎

Rhodes, or at least because there is a swirling pad sound under it I'd guess something that can layer both. Maybe a Nord.
Hydrasynth Deluxe? I know you are making the Hydrasynth Rediscovered, Revisited, or whatever the video is called.
Maybe it's the Rhodes V8 plugin?
Anyway, it sounds really great!
Rhoades, i say
It the Sanjay's C Rhodes (Full version) sample pack of course
Electric Piano over an orchestral-ish pad.
I hear Wurly or Rhodes-like tines with a synth string underneath, but there's none of that grubby distortion on the hard hit bass notes 🤔

Was it the Radias?
Where is my prize - Korg Radius?
I was gonna guess Yamaha Montage, then saw you playing a Montage! Still my guess, genuinely. Incredibly underrated synth.
Galaxius
Your first sample library instrument?

I don't think it's the Reface or a DX.
It sounds like plucking so I think maybe a harp?
KORG Grandstage .
