I wasn't sure about the difference between eject and safely remove. Thanks for revealing the difference.❤

Will the life of my usb device be longer if I choose "safely remove" instead of Eject?

Possibly, I think eject will still do the job of safely removing the device however, it's worth noting that some USB sticks or devices might have firmware or built-in features that allow them to perform certain actions autonomously, such as automatically backing up files or running specific software.

Hi, if you're encountering issues with the "Next" button being grayed out during the LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition) installer when trying to create a password, there could be a few potential reasons and solutions: - Ensure that you're meeting any password complexity requirements. Some installers require passwords to have a minimum length or include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
      - Make sure you've entered the same password in both the "Password" and "Confirm Password" fields. If they don't match, the "Next" button might remain grayed out.
      - Sometimes, the installer interface might not properly register the input in the password field. Click on the password field again to ensure the installer recognizes your input.
      - Try using the "Tab" key on your keyboard to navigate through the installer fields. Pressing "Tab" might help you move focus to the password field and activate the "Next" button.
      - If none of the above solutions work, it might be a glitch in the installer. Restart the installation process and see if the issue persists. Ensure that you're using the latest version of the LMDE installer. Check for any updates or patches that might address known issues with the installer. Hope it will help!
